Enhancing Low‐Temperature Performance of Sodium‐Ion Batteries via Anion‐Solvent Interactions
DOL is introduced into electrolytes as a co‐solvent, increasing slat solubility, ion conductivity, and the de‐solvent process, and forming an anion‐rich solvent shell due to its high interaction with anion. With the above virtues, the batteries using this electrolyte exhibit excellent cycling stability at low temperatures. Abstract Sodium‐ion batteries

Counterion Dependent Side‐Chain Relaxation Stiffens a Chemically Doped Thienothiophene Copolymer
Oxidation of a thienothiophene copolymer, p(g3TT‐T2), via different doping strategies and dopant molecules resulted in materials with similar oxidation levels and a high electrical conductivity of ≈100 S cm−1. However, mechanical properties varied significantly, with sub‐glass transition temperatures and elastic moduli spanning from –44°C to –3°C and ...

SOFT SENSOR FOR BETTER CONTROL OF CARBON DIOXIDE REMOVAL PROCESS IN ETHYLENE GLYCOL PLANT [PDF]
Low carbon dioxide in cycle gas loop of ethylene glycol (EG) plant improves catalyst selectivity and overall economics of the plant. Carbon dioxide produced as a byproduct in ethylene oxide reactor is removed by the Benfield process. In this process, the

Synthesis and Biodegradability of Copolymers of Ethylene Carbonate with Lactones [PDF]
The copolymers of ethylene carbonate (EC) with e-caprolactone (CL) or δ-valerolactone (VL) were synthesized using (C5Me5)2SmMe(THF) as initiator. We prepared EC/CL and EC/VL copolymers with a high molecular weight (Mn ≧; 140000) without decarboxylation from the EC unit. The EC/CL copolymers were obtained in a higher carbonate content (up to ca. 30 mol%)
