Telomerization of Ethylene with Carbon Tetrachloride

In this report, relation between increase of volume of carbon tetrachloride solution saturated with ethylene and pressure was determined at 20°C and 30°C in a view of industrial application. Telomerization was carried out at comparatively high "volume ratio".

Interlayer Expansion of Bulk MoS2 via Top‐Down Organic Pillaring Enables Tunable Li+ Intercalation and Controlled Solvent Co‐Intercalation

Top‐down organic pillaring expands the interlayer spacing of bulk‐sized MoS2 particles while preserving the bulk morphology. This work describes polycaprolactone (PCL)‐based biomaterials engineered to degrade in response to cell‐secreted proteases. A fast‐degrading peptide (Fast) sequence is integrated into a PCL conjugate backbone to produce a biomaterial that is selectively degraded by multiple cell types compared to its scrambled control (ScrFast).
