New taxa of Euglenophyta from China
Eight new taxa of Euglenophyta are described in this paper. They were collected from several provinces in China and respectively namedEuglena allorgei var.exsulcata, E. pisciformis var.globosa, E. tortilis. Lepocinclis glabra var.papillata, Phacus pisiformis, Ph. strombuliformis, Ph. trimarginatus var.truncatus andAstasia angusta.

The article generalizes the data on diversity, ecology, and saprobiology of the flora of Euglenophyta in the wastewater treatment system of the Droctua Sugar Factory (DSF). Euglenophyta of the basins of filtration fields are represented by 54 species, and 17 infraspecific taxa belonging to 4 families and 8 genera.
