Structural Variations Associated with Adaptation and Coat Color in Qinghai‐Tibetan Plateau Cattle
This study reveals the landscape of structural variants in Qinghai‐Tibetan Plateau cattle through long‐read sequencing. Discoveries include metabolic and oxygen‐regulation gene variants, along with a 2‐Mb KIT‐containing inversion and translocations responsible for cattle gray coat. These findings highlight the significant role of structural variants in

The European rabbit problem in New Zealand
Although in much smaller numbers now than previously, the European rabbit (Oryctolagus cuniculus) is still a major pest and a significant threat to agriculture, particularly sheep farming. The total cost of rabbit control is about NZ$5 million and the net annual return due to increased agricultural production has been calculated at about NZ$60 million.

This study combined microscale 3D‐printing with 2D Ti3C2Tx MXene nanosheets to produce electroconductive microfibrous micro‐meshes. By embedding these MXene‐functionalized micro‐meshes within a growth‐supportive macroporous extracellular matrix (ECM)‐based biomaterial, multifunctional biomimetic MXene‐ECM scaffolds were developed.

RAB5A Promotes Active Fluid Wetting by Reprogramming Breast Cancer Spheroid Mechanics
RAB5A‐mediated unjamming enhances active wetting through distinct biomechanical processes: a) upregulation of specific integrin subunits, enhanced focal adhesions kinetics and activity; b) supracellular organization relying on nanoscale integrin clustering, and the formation of a stiff and collective actin cable; and c) softening of the spheroid core ...

Simulated microgravity induces distinct mitochondrial hyperactivation patterns‐elevated OXPHOS and MMP‐which accelerate meiosis without SAC failure but delays MTOC coalescence, leading to spindle defects and meiotic arrest. Prolonging M‐phase restores MTOC assembly and oocyte maturation.
