Condensates at synapses organize synaptic vesicles (SVs) and are crucial for efficient neurotransmitter release, yet how RNA contributes to this mesoscale architecture remains poorly understood. Here we uncover that RNA modulates synapsin–driven condensates.

Nucleoside‐Modified mRNA Encoding Alpha‐Galactosidase A Ameliorates Fabry Disease Phenotypes in Human IPSC‐Derived Cardiomyocytes

Human iPSC‐derived Fabry cardiomyocytes exhibited broad transcriptional dysregulation, apoptosis, mitochondrial dysfunction, impaired reactive oxygen species handling, altered contractility, and abnormal calcium transient decay, potentially mediated by phospholamban hyperphosphorylation.

AI‑guided single‑cell transcriptomics identifies OGT as a key regulator enriched in rheumatoid arthritis fibroblast‑like synoviocytes (RA‐FLSs). Inflammatory stimuli activate the OGT–SAP130 axis, which modulates the H3K27ac/H3K27me3 balance and epigenetically silences BTG2, promoting aggressive transformation of RA‑FLSs.

African elephants and European rabbits: a spurious correlation?

Compares the debarking of young and drought stressed shrubs by rabbits in Britain with the debarking of trees by elephants. Particular reference is made to Amboseli where a change in the water table level may have caused the phenol content of the bark to fall as it did in the drought conditions experienced by the rabbits.
