Using of Paramagnetic Microparticles and Quantum Dots for Isolation and Electrochemical Detection of Influenza Viruses’ Specific Nucleic Acids

open access: yesInternational Journal of Electrochemical Science, 2013
The aim of this study was to suggest isolation protocol based on paramagnetic microparticles and multicolour electrochemical detection of three various influenza oligonucleotides (H1N1 influenza subtype, H3N2 influenza subtype and H5N1 influenza subtype)

CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.

The Electrochemical and Statistical Evaluation of Isolation of Mellitin and Apamin from Honey Bee (Apis Mellifera) Venom

open access: yesInternational Journal of Electrochemical Science, 2015
We present in this manuscript for the first time the electrochemical and statistical evaluation of FPLC isolation of mellitin and apamin from honey bee (Apis mellifera) venom. Venoms are extremely complex blends of diverse substances that target a myriad

Heterozygous loss‐of‐function alleles associate the conserved 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease EXOSC10 with hypersensitivity to the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
EXOSC10, an essential nuclear RNA exosome‐associated 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease, is inhibited by the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil (5‐FU), and EXOSC10 depletion increases 5‐FU sensitivity. The colon‐cancer variant EXOSC10S402T, located in a proteolysis motif, is stable and nuclear but nonfunctional in vivo.

Y-Fe2O3 Magnetic Core Functionalized with Tetraethyl Orthosilicate and 3-Aminopropyl Triethoxysilane for an Isolation of H7N7 Influenza Serotype Virions

open access: yesInternational Journal of Electrochemical Science, 2014
The influenza viruses cause annual epidemics of respiratory disease and occasional pandemics, which constitute a major public-health issue. The most important tool in the diagnosis of influenza pandemic is timely and right diagnosis.

Transcriptional profiling of circulating extracellular vesicles from prebiopsy prostate cancer patients

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
RNA profiling of circulating extracellular vesicles (EVs) from blood samples of men undergoing prostate biopsy identifies transcripts associated with clinically significant prostate cancer. Integrative analysis with public tumor datasets links EV‐derived gene signatures to tumor stage and progression‐free survival, highlighting CASP3, XRCC2, and RIT1 ...

Adaptor protein CIN85 potentiates the motility of osteosarcoma cells via the Akt/mTOR and MMP2‐COL3A1 axis

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
CIN85 is highly expressed in osteosarcoma, particularly in metastatic lesions. Its overexpression increases cell migration and Matrigel invasion, while silencing CIN85 suppresses these behaviors. Transcriptome analysis shows that CIN85 regulates MMP2, COL3A1, and Akt/mTOR signaling. Targeting these pathways reverses CIN85‐induced motility, highlighting
