Bir “Avrupa” Azınlığı Olarak Batı Trakya Türkleri

open access: yesİstanbul Gelişim Üniversitesi Sosyal Bilimler Dergisi, 2018
Batı Trakya Müslüman Türkleri, 1923’ten günümüze kadar pek çok sorunla ve ayrımcılıkla karşı karşıya kalmış, özelikle Türk-Yunan ilişkilerinin Kıbrıs Sorunu sebebiyle bozulduğu 1970li yıllar sonrasında ayrımcılığın ve sorunların şiddeti artarak devam ...

Europeanization and the Emergence of a European Society [PDF]

open access: yesSSRN Electronic Journal, 2008
This article examines the European integration process from a sociological perspective, where the main focus is the examination of the social consequences of the integration process. The European Union has advanced significantly in the economic, social, and political integration processes. This has resulted in a rapid Europeanization of behavior. There

Transcriptional profiling of circulating extracellular vesicles from prebiopsy prostate cancer patients

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
RNA profiling of circulating extracellular vesicles (EVs) from blood samples of men undergoing prostate biopsy identifies transcripts associated with clinically significant prostate cancer. Integrative analysis with public tumor datasets links EV‐derived gene signatures to tumor stage and progression‐free survival, highlighting CASP3, XRCC2, and RIT1 ...

Adaptor protein CIN85 potentiates the motility of osteosarcoma cells via the Akt/mTOR and MMP2‐COL3A1 axis

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
CIN85 is highly expressed in osteosarcoma, particularly in metastatic lesions. Its overexpression increases cell migration and Matrigel invasion, while silencing CIN85 suppresses these behaviors. Transcriptome analysis shows that CIN85 regulates MMP2, COL3A1, and Akt/mTOR signaling. Targeting these pathways reverses CIN85‐induced motility, highlighting

Longitudinal circulating tumor DNA profiling in patients with advanced endometrial cancer using an off‐the‐shelf targeted NGS panel

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Intratumour heterogeneity complicates precision management of advanced endometrial cancer. Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) offers a minimally invasive strategy to capture tumor evolution and therapeutic resistance. Here, we compare tumor‐agnostic NGS with tumor‐informed ddPCR, outlining their relative sensitivity, concordance, and clinical implications ...

"An Integrated Model of National Party Response to European Integration". IHS Political Science Series: No. 115, May 2008 [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
Developments in the policy and polity dimensions of European integration constitute the ‘European context’ of national politics. The present paper contributes to the broader debates on Europeanization by exploring whether and to what extent this context ...

Interpreting the effects of DNA polymerase variants at the structural level

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Using MAVISp and molecular dynamics simulations, we analyzed over 60 000 missense variants in POLE and POLD1 from ClinVar, COSMIC, cBioPortal, and saturation mutagenesis. Identified mechanistic indicators, including stability, binding, and long‐range, enable structural interpretation, providing ACMG‐like evidence for possible reclassification of VUS ...
