Wavelet Filtering of the P300 Component in Event-Related Potentials
2006 International Conference of the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society, 2006This paper presents an application of wavelet filtering to single-trial P300 component analysis. The objective of this study is to introduce a new method for analyzing the P300 component, when performing a given cognitive task, in this case, a two-choice reaction time task.

P300 event-related potentials and cognitive function in social phobia
Psychiatry Research: Neuroimaging, 2004The aim of the study was to investigate abnormalities of event-related potentials (ERPs) in social phobia patients indicating deficits in speed and amount of perceptual and cognitive resources as well as relationships between ERPs and cognitive functioning.

Effects of Self-Evaluation on the P300 Event-Related Potential
Perceptual and Motor Skills, 2005The effects of self evaluation on the P300 event-related potential (ERP) were explored with 56 participants (16 men, 40 women; M age = 23.4 yr., SD = 1.2) across three conditions. The conditions included (1) a standard ERP auditory oddball discrimination between a random target (15% occurrence) and standard stimuli (85% occurrence), (2) the oddball ...

[Event-related potential P300 in cerebral infarction].
Zhonghua shen jing jing shen ke za zhi = Chinese journal of neurology and psychiatry, 1991N1, P2 and P300 potentials were studied in 20 cases of cerebral infarction and 47 healthy controls with standard technique of auditory event-related potentials. Healthy controls of both sexes, different ages, education levels and cognitive capacity did not show apparent differences in the latency of p300 (P greater than 0.05, respectively). The patient
