Genetic Correlation Between the P300 Event-Related Brain Potential and the EEG Power Spectrum [PDF]

open access: yes, 2001
Previous studies have demonstrated moderate heritability of the P300 component of event-related brain potentials (ERPs) and high heritability of background electroencephalogram (EEG) power spectrum.

Ubiquitination of transcription factors in cancer: unveiling therapeutic potential

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In cancer, dysregulated ubiquitination of transcription factors contributes to the uncontrolled growth and survival characteristics of tumors. Tumor suppressors are degraded by aberrant ubiquitination, or oncogenic transcription factors gain stability through ubiquitination, thereby promoting tumorigenesis.

Role of Medicinal plant‐derived Nutraceuticals as a potential target for the treatment of breast cancer

open access: yesJournal of Food Biochemistry, Volume 46, Issue 12, December 2022., 2022
Breast cancer (BC) is one of the most challenging cancers to treat. Nutraceuticals acting by attenuating Hedgehog, NF‐κB, and Wnt/β‐catenin pathways. Nutraceuticals have medical characteristics and may cure cancer Abstract Breast cancer (BC) is one of the most challenging cancers to treat, accounting for many cancer‐related deaths.

Rapid enhancement of touch from non-informative vision of the hand [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
Processing in one sensory modality may modulate processing in another. Here we investigate how simply viewing the hand can influence the sense of touch. Previous studies showed that non-informative vision of the hand enhances tactile acuity, relative to ...
