Nuclear pore links Fob1‐dependent rDNA damage relocation to lifespan control
Damaged rDNA accumulates at a specific perinuclear interface that couples nucleolar escape with nuclear envelope association. Nuclear pores at this site help inhibit Fob1‐induced rDNA instability. This spatial organization of damage handling supports a functional link between nuclear architecture, rDNA stability, and replicative lifespan in yeast.

Time-Interval-Guided Event Representation for Scene Understanding
The recovery of scenes under extreme lighting conditions is pivotal for effective image analysis and feature detection. Traditional cameras face challenges with low dynamic range and limited spectral response in such scenarios. In this paper, we advocate

ESVIO: Event-Based Stereo Visual-Inertial Odometry
The emerging event cameras are bio-inspired sensors that can output pixel-level brightness changes at extremely high rates, and event-based visual-inertial odometry (VIO) is widely studied and used in autonomous robots. In this paper, we propose an event-

Motion-aware Event Suppression for Event Cameras
In this work, we introduce the first framework for Motion-aware Event Suppression, which learns to filter events triggered by IMOs and ego-motion in real time. Our model jointly segments IMOs in the current event stream while predicting their future motion, enabling anticipatory suppression of dynamic events before they occur.

Single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assays for high‐throughput DNA–protein interaction studies
We describe an optimised single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assay that visualises DNA–protein interactions in real time. Linear DNA fragments are tethered to a surface and stretched by buffer flow for fluorescence imaging. Using λ and φX174 DNA, this protocol enhances reproducibility and accessibility, providing a versatile approach for studying diverse ...

Matrix metalloproteinase‐9 (MMP9) drives ovarian cancer progression. Using MMP9‐null cells (M9‐KO) created from ovarian cancer cells, we found MMP9 loss did not block Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF)‐driven E‐cadherin dissolution or EMT but delayed and reduced EGF‐driven membrane protrusions. Transient MMP9 re‐expression drove membrane protrusion.

SpikeMOT: Event-Based Multi-Object Tracking With Sparse Motion Features
In comparison to conventional RGB cameras, the exceptional temporal resolution of event cameras allows them to capture rich information between frames, making them prime candidates for object tracking.

Despite frogs avoiding low temperatures, examination of four salamander species revealed that none avoided cold and all possessed cold tolerance. Functional analysis of TRPM8, a cold sensor, showed that all salamander TRPM8s had lost their cold sensitivity.

The Effects of Video Compression on Simulated Time Events
Event-based cameras provide many advantages over conventional frame-based cameras, both in terms of time resolution and motion blur, making them increasingly popular in research and industrial applications, particularly in automotive sensing.
