COMP–PMEPA1 axis promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition in breast cancer cells

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study reveals that cartilage oligomeric matrix protein (COMP) promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EMT) in breast cancer. We identify PMEPA1 (protein TMEPAI) as a novel COMP‐binding partner that mediates EMT via binding to the TSP domains of COMP, establishing the COMP–PMEPA1 axis as a key EMT driver in breast cancer.

Optimal control for systems governed by parabolic equations without initial conditions with controls in the coefficients

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2017
We consider an optimal control problem for systems described by a Fourier problem for parabolic equations. We prove the existence of solutions, and obtain necessary conditions of the optimal control in the case of final observation when the control ...

Pre‐analytical optimization of cell‐free DNA and extracellular vesicle‐derived DNA for mutation detection in liquid biopsies

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pre‐analytical handling critically determines liquid biopsy performance. This study defines practical best‐practice conditions for cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) and extracellular vesicle–derived DNA (evDNA), showing how processing time, storage conditions, tube type, and plasma input volume affect DNA integrity and mutation detection.

Integrable Anisotropic Evolution Equations on a Sphere

open access: yesSymmetry, Integrability and Geometry: Methods and Applications, 2005
V.V. Sokolov's modifying symmetry approach is applied to anisotropic evolution equations of the third order on the n-dimensional sphere. The main result is a complete classification of such equations.

On the evolution equation for magnetic geodesics [PDF]

open access: yesCalculus of Variations and Partial Differential Equations, 2009
In this paper we prove the existence of long time solutions for the parabolic equation for closed magnetic geodesics.

EDNRB‐dependent endothelin signaling reduces proliferation and promotes proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition in gliomas

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

Monotone iterative method for retarded evolution equations involving nonlocal and impulsive conditions

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2020
In this article, we apply the perturbation technique and monotone iterative method in the presence of the lower and the upper solutions to discuss the existence of the minimal and maximal mild solutions to the retarded evolution equations involving ...

The chaotic effects in a nonlinear QCD evolution equation

open access: yesNuclear Physics B, 2016
The corrections of gluon fusion to the DGLAP and BFKL equations are discussed in a united partonic framework. The resulting nonlinear evolution equations are the well-known GLR–MQ–ZRS equation and a new evolution equation.
