Longitudinal genome‐wide aneuploidy measurements in circulating cell‐free DNA to predict lack of benefit from pembrolizumab in patients with metastatic urothelial cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Many patients with urothelial cancer do not benefit from treatment with pembrolizumab, while at risk of severe side effects. Changes in the levels of circulating tumor DNA early during treatment, measured by a simple and affordable assay that can be easily implemented in the clinic, can be used as a prognostic tool to identify these patients.

Asteroseismology and Dynamics Reveal Interior Structure and Coeval Evolution in the Triply Post-main-sequence System DG Leo

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal
δ Scuti stars in binary or multiple systems serve as crucial probes for studying stellar pulsation and evolution. However, many such systems are not ideal for asteroseismology due to uncertainties in mass transfer with close companions and the challenges

MITF maintains genome stability in nonmelanocyte lineages

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
MITF is essential for melanocyte survival and acts as an oncogene in 10%–20% of melanomas. We show that MITF depletion causes genome instability in nonmelanocytic cells, leading to LATS2‐mediated P53 activation, cell cycle arrest, and apoptosis. This study highlights the role of MITF as a genome maintenance factor beyond the melanocyte lineage. Created

A New High‐Resolution Broadband Lg Attenuation Model Beneath Colombia: Implications for Triple Junction Tectonics

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters
The existence of a typical triple junction in Colombia is crucial for understanding plate convergence and coupling among the South American Plate, the subducting Nazca Plate, and the Caribbean Plate.

The Triple Evolution Theory (ATTHE)

open access: yes
The Triple Evolution Theory (ATTHE) is an original intellectual work developed by Walid Hassan Al-Ashwah. It proposes a novel spiral model of conscious evolution, sustainable transformation, and creative development. The theory introduces original laws, including the Law of Cognitive Stagnation, the Principle of Ethical Governance, the Continuity of ...

Triple-Phase Interface Engineering over an In2O3 Electrode to Boost Carbon Dioxide Electroreduction

open access: yes
The electrocatalytic reduction of CO2 is deemed to be a promising method to ease environmental and energy issues. However, achieving high efficiency and selectivity of CO2 electroreduction remains a bottleneck due to huge limitation of CO2 mass transfer ...

The Organism in Developmental System Theory (DST) [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
In this paper, I address the question of what the Developmental Systems Theory (DST) aims at explaining. I distinguish two lines of thought in DST, one which deals specifically with development, and tries to explain the development of the individual ...

A novel quinazolinone insulin receptor inhibitor and its synergy with an EGFR inhibitor in glucose‐driven glioblastoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in

Stellar and dynamical evolution within triple systems

open access: yes, 1995
About 5-15% of stellar systems are at least triple. About 1% of systems with a primary of $\tgs 1 \Mscun$ are triple with a {\it longer} peri od that is less than 30y, and so may in principle be capable of Roche-lobe overflow in both the inner and the outer orbits, at different times.
