content, and antioxidants during acclimatization of Abrus precatorius to ex vitro conditions

open access: yes, 2013
An efficient, rapid, and reproducible plant regeneration protocol was successfully developed for Abrus precatorius L. using mature nodal explants excised from a 5-year-old field grown plant.

Triple‐Negative Breast Cancer Cells Utilize IL8 and CXCL1 to Suppress NK Cells’ Function and Facilitate Cancer Metastasis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Triple‐negative breast cancer (TNBC) cells evade natural killer (NK) cell immunity by secreting IL8 and CXCL1. These chemokines suppress NK cells’ function via CXCR1/2 and enhance cancer cells’ survival through PD‐L1 upregulation and BCL‐2 anti‐apoptotic signaling.

In vitro germination and ex vitro acclimatization of juçara palm seeds (Euterpe edulis Martius)

open access: yes, 2022
Euterpe edulis is propagated by mature seeds and, due to the hardness of the tegument and endosperm, it has slow ex vitro germination. However, immature seeds in in vitro cultivation can accelerate germination and produce normal axenic seedlings.

PANX2 Suppresses Lung Adenocarcinoma Progression by Inducing Disulfidptosis and Enhancing Antitumor Immunity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) remains a leading cause of cancer mortality with limited therapeutic options. Disulfidptosis, a novel cell death modality driven by disulfide stress, represents a promising target, yet its regulation in LUAD is poorly defined. Here, we identify Pannexin 2 (PANX2) as a tumor suppressor in LUAD.

Orchestrated Engineered Polyphenol‐Peptide Condensates Coupled With β‐GP Reverses Diabetic Osteoporosis by Remodeling Mitophagy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A multifunctional β‐GP@EGCG‐E7 nanoplatform is engineered by polyphenol–peptide condensation and phosphate loading. Bone‐targeted delivery, antioxidant and anti‐inflammatory activity, and mitophagy restoration are integrated in one system, enabling protection of osteoblasts and endothelial cells and promoting bone regeneration under diabetic ...

In vitro culture of carnation and acclimatization of the plantlet to ex vitro condition

open access: yesفیزیولوژی محیطی گیاهی, 2006
Dianthus caryophyllus is one of the most important species in Dianthus genus. In order to propagation virus-free plant material, in vitro culture of this species var cerise royallette were studied. Explants were cultured in Anderson medium containing 1 mgl-1 6-benzylaminopurine. 6-benzylaminopurine alone induced callus in nodes and internodes explants.

ZDHHC17‐Mediated CDK4 Palmitoylation Drives Cell Cycle Progression and Orchestrates Cancer Immune Surveillance

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ZDHHC17 palmitoylates CDK4, which together with TRAF6‐mediated ubiquitination, drives cell cycle progression and immune surveillance, revealing a rational combination of CDK4 inhibitors with immune checkpoint blockers for ZDHHC17‐driven cancers. ABSTRACT Uncontrolled cell cycle progression is a hallmark of cancer, tightly regulated by both intrinsic ...

Plant growth-promoting bacteria enhance chlorophyll a fluorescence, biomass, and acclimatization rate of Stryphnodendron adstringens grown in vitro [PDF]

open access: yesBrazilian Journal of Biology
A significant knowledge gap exists regarding how beneficial microorganisms affect in vitro plant cultivation. Although aseptic conditions are essential, they exclude microorganisms that could enhance plant growth and acclimatization.
