Potential therapeutic targeting of BKCa channels in glioblastoma treatment

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This review summarizes current insights into the role of BKCa and mitoBKCa channels in glioblastoma biology, their potential classification as oncochannels, and the emerging pharmacological strategies targeting these channels, emphasizing the translational challenges in developing BKCa‐directed therapies for glioblastoma treatment.

Exact controllability problem of a wave equation in non-cylindrical domains

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2015
Let $\alpha: [0, \infty)\to(0, \infty)$ be a twice continuous differentiable function which satisfies that $\alpha(0)=1$, $\alpha'$ is monotone and ...

Exact controllability of conformable linear systems with semilinear boundary control

open access: yesNonlinear Analysis
In this manuscript, we investigate the exact controllability of a class of linear systems governed by conformable fractional derivatives of order α in (0; 1] subject to semilinear boundary control in Banach spaces.

Exact controllability and spectrum assignment

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications, 1984
Let (A,B) be a linear system where the state operator A is a bounded linear operator on a Hilbert space \({\mathcal H}\) and the input operator B is a bounded linear operator from a Hilbert space \({\mathcal G}\) to \({\mathcal H}\). The system (A,B) is called exactly controllable if every vector of \({\mathcal H}\) belongs to the algebraic linear span

Effective therapeutic targeting of CTNNB1‐mutant hepatoblastoma with WNTinib

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
WNTinib, a Wnt/CTNNB1 inhibitor, was tested in hepatoblastoma (HB) experimental models. It delayed tumor growth and improved survival in CTNNB1‐mutant in vivo models. In organoids, WNTinib outperformed cisplatin and showed enhanced efficacy in combination therapy, supporting its potential as a targeted treatment for CTNNB1‐mutated HB.

Monitoring of circulating tumor DNA allows early detection of disease relapse in patients with operable breast cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Monitoring circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) in patients with operable breast cancer can reveal disease relapse earlier than radiology in a subset of patients. The failure to detect ctDNA in some patients with recurrent disease suggests that ctDNA could serve as a supplement to other monitoring approaches.

Exact controllability for a string equation in domains with moving boundary in one dimension

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2015
We consider a string equation in a domain with moving boundary. By using the multiplier method in non-cylindrical domains, we establish the exact boundary controllability in domains with moving boundary, and obtain a weaker condition on the time ...

Approximate and Exact Controllability for Hilfer Fractional Stochastic Evolution Equations

open access: yesFractal and Fractional
This paper investigates the controllability of Hilfer fractional stochastic evolution equations (HFSEEs). Initially, we obtain a conclusion regarding the approximate controllability of HFSEEs by employing the Tikhonov-type regularization method and ...

On exact controllability of operators

open access: yesRocky Mountain Journal of Mathematics, 1990
Spectrum assignment results for exactly controllable pairs of operators proved by \textit{K. Takahashi} [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 104, 537-545 (1984; Zbl 0588.93014)] are made more precise by exhibiting the continuous dependence on the parameters involved.

LINC01116, a hypoxia‐lncRNA marker of pathological lymphangiogenesis and poor prognosis in lung adenocarcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The LINC01116 long noncoding RNA is induced by hypoxia and associated with poor prognosis and high recurrence rates in two cohorts of lung adenocarcinoma patients. Here, we demonstrate that besides its expression in cancer cells, LINC01116 is markedly expressed in lymphatic endothelial cells of the tumor stroma in which it participates in hypoxia ...
