Some Controllability Results for Linearized Compressible Navier-Stokes System [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
In this article, we study the null controllability of linearized compressible Navier-Stokes system in one and two dimension. We first study the one-dimensional compressible Navier-Stokes system for non-barotropic fluid linearized around a constant steady

Existence Solution and Controllability of Sobolev Type Delay Nonlinear Fractional Integro-Differential System

open access: yesMathematics, 2019
Fractional integro-differential equations arise in the mathematical modeling of various physical phenomena like heat conduction in materials with memory, diffusion processes, etc.

On the cost of fast controls for some families of dispersive or parabolic equations in one space dimension [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
In this paper, we consider the cost of null controllability for a large class of linear equations of parabolic or dispersive type in one space dimension in small time. By extending the work of Tenenbaum and Tucsnak in "New blow-up rates for fast controls

EXACT NULL CONTROLLABILITY OF ABSTRACT DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS BY FINITE-DIMENSIONAL CONTROL AND STRONGLY MINIMAL FAMILIES OF EXPONENTIALS [PDF]

open access: yesDifferential Equations & Applications, 2011
The exact controllability to the origin for linear evolution control equation is consid- ered. The problem is investigated by its transformation to infinite linear moment problem of generalized exponentials. The existence of solutions of obtained moment problem is investi- gated for the case when exponentials of a moment problem do not constitute a ...

Transcriptional network analysis of PTEN‐protein‐deficient prostate tumors reveals robust stromal reprogramming and signs of senescent paracrine communication

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Combining PTEN protein assessment and transcriptomic profiling of prostate tumors, we uncovered a network enriched in senescence and extracellular matrix (ECM) programs associated with PTEN loss and conserved in a mouse model. We show that PTEN‐deficient cells trigger paracrine remodeling of the surrounding stroma and this information could help ...

Insensitizing exact controls for the scalar wave equation and exact controllability of $2$-coupled cascade systems of PDE's by a single control

open access: yes, 2014
We study the exact controllability, by a reduced number of controls, of coupled cascade systems of PDE's and the existence of exact insensitizing controls for the scalar wave equation. We give a necessary and sufficient condition for the observability of

Adaptor protein CIN85 potentiates the motility of osteosarcoma cells via the Akt/mTOR and MMP2‐COL3A1 axis

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
CIN85 is highly expressed in osteosarcoma, particularly in metastatic lesions. Its overexpression increases cell migration and Matrigel invasion, while silencing CIN85 suppresses these behaviors. Transcriptome analysis shows that CIN85 regulates MMP2, COL3A1, and Akt/mTOR signaling. Targeting these pathways reverses CIN85‐induced motility, highlighting

Controllability results for some nonlinear coupled parabolic systems by one control force [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
In this paper, we present new controllability results for some nonlinear coupled parabolic systems considered in a bounded domain Ω of IRN (with N ≥ 1 being arbitrary) when the control force acts on a unique equation of the system through an ...

DNA methylation and expression of MAPRE3 affect overall survival of early‐stage non‐small cell lung cancer patients

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Both cg12821679MAPRE3 methylation and MAPRE3 expression are significantly associated with overall survival (OS) of non‐small cell lung cancer. Meanwhile, MAPRE3 expression significantly modified the effect of smoking cessation on OS. Smoking cessation benefits OS merely for patients with high MAPRE3 expression.

On the Lyapunov equation in Banach spaces and applications to control problems

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2002
By extending the Lyapunov equation A*Q+QA=−P to an arbitrary infinite-dimensional Banach space, we give stability conditions for a class of linear differential systems.
