Remote Assessment of Ataxia Severity in SCA3 Across Multiple Centers and Time Points

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Spinocerebellar ataxia type 3 (SCA3) is a genetically defined ataxia. The Scale for Assessment and Rating of Ataxia (SARA) is a clinician‐reported outcome that measures ataxia severity at a single time point. In its standard application, SARA fails to capture short‐term fluctuations, limiting its sensitivity in trials.

Null exact controllability of the parabolic equations with equivalued surface boundary condition [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Stochastic Analysis, 2006
This paper is devoted to showing the null exact controllability for a class of parabolic equations with equivalued surface boundary condition. Our method is based on the duality argument and global Carleman‐type estimate for a parabolic operator.

Impact of Asymptomatic Intracranial Hemorrhage on Outcome After Endovascular Stroke Treatment

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Endovascular treatment (EVT) achieves high rates of recanalization in acute large‐vessel occlusion (LVO) stroke, but functional recovery remains heterogeneous. While symptomatic intracranial hemorrhage (sICH) has been well studied, the prognostic impact of asymptomatic intracranial hemorrhage (aICH) after EVT is less certain ...

High‐Resolution MRI Revealed Different Etiology‐Specific Associations With Cerebral Infarction in Adult Moyamoya Vasculopathy

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective High‐resolution MRI enables detailed assessment of intracranial vessel wall pathology in moyamoya vasculopathy. We aimed to classify adult moyamoya vasculopathy etiologies using high‐resolution MRI and to examine subtype‐specific associations between high‐resolution MRI features and ischemic infarction.

Exact null internal controllability for the heat equation on unbounded convex domains [PDF]

open access: yesESAIM: Control, Optimisation and Calculus of Variations, 2014
The liner parabolic equation with Neumann boundary condition on a convex open domain 𝒪 ⊂ ℝd with smooth boundary is exactly null controllable on each finite interval if 𝒪0 is an open subset of 𝒪 which contains a suitable neighbourhood of the recession cone of .

Risk of Non‐Arteritic Anterior Ischemic Optic Neuropathy in Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension Patients Treated with GLP‐1 Receptor Agonists

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Introduction Glucagon‐like peptide‐1 receptor agonists (GLP‐1 RAs) have demonstrated significant weight‐reducing effects and may offer benefits in idiopathic intracranial hypertension (IIH); however, recent concerns about the risk of non‐arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy (NAION) have emerged.

Exact controllability of rational expectations model with multiplicative noise and input delay

open access: yesJournal of Automation and Intelligence
This paper considers the rational expectations model with multiplicative noise and input delay, where the system dynamics rely on the conditional expectations of future states.

Temporal Trends and Short‐ and Long‐Term Mortality of People With Acute Myocardial Infarction and Rheumatoid Arthritis: A Nationwide Cohort Study

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, EarlyView.
Objective We investigated whether a diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) affects the quality of inpatient acute myocardial infarction (AMI) care and long‐term mortality post‐AMI. Methods We analyzed data from 784,091 adults, 6,047 with a diagnosis of RA, from England and Wales hospitalized with AMI between 2005 and 2019 from the Myocardial Ischaemia ...

THE NULL-EXACT CONTROLLABILITY OF THE GENERALIZED WAVE PROBLEM GOVERNED BY ONCE INTEGRATED SEMIGROUPS

open access: yesDemonstratio Mathematica, 2004
Two problems of existence and uniqueness of the integrated solution and the null-exact controllability of a generalized wave equation are discussed. First, information from the theory of once integrated semigroups is indicated and the integrated solution of the inhomogeneous Cauchy problem is defined.
