Disturbance Rejection for Biped Walking Using Zero-Moment Point Variation Based on Body Acceleration
IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics, 2019For real-world applications, a biped robot should maintain stable walking when subjected to sudden external disturbances. Typically, unexpected changes to body acceleration indicate that a robot is experiencing an external disturbance.

15 years of anti-corruption in Romania: augmentation, aberration and acceleration
European Politics and Society, 2020Romania’s criminal prosecution of corruption is a controversial topic. While advocates praise the National Anticorruption Directorate (DNA) for its increasing results, critics voice concerns over the abusive and excessive manner how the fight against ...

Farm closures accelerate but no excessive incorporation

Excess iron may accelerate amyloid beta accumulation in the brains of older mice
Neurobiology of AgingAging is a natural physiological process that may be accompanied by pathological changes, particularly in the brain. Iron is an essential trace element supporting various physiological functions and maintaining cellular homeostasis. However, iron levels tend to increase in certain brain regions of older adults and are associated with the development of

Injury, 2006
The effect of head injury on systemic physiology, including bone healing is still a topic of vivid discussion. Whether the observed changes genuinely represent accelerated fracture healing or are a form of local heterotopic ossification remains unclear.

Accelerated temperature testing of transistors does not cause excess flicker noise
Microelectronics Reliability, 1982Abstract Electrical noise measurement analysis has been applied in reliability screening of semiconductor devices. Normally it is expected that during accelerated testing reactions increase in composition of device materials causes early failures through the process of defect production.

Acceleration of fusion in mouse palates by in vitro exposure to excess G.
The Physiologist, 1996Palatal shelves from 13- and 14-day mouse embryos were excised and cultured in contiguous pairs. Experimental cultures were exposed to 2.6 G in a culture centrifuge; controls were in the same incubator. After 24 hours, palates were prepared for light or electron microscopy.
