3D Bioprinted Alginate‐Gelatin‐Collagen Based Hydrogels Laden With Fibroblast and Keratinocyte Cells Show Potential for Regeneration of Injured Skin

Engineered skin tissue by 3D bioprinting of hydrogels comprising alginate‐gelatin‐collagen and laden with human dermal fibroblasts and keratinocytes were successfully produced. The viability and phenotypes of the fibroblasts and keratinocytes were all well maintained within the printed constructs using MTT, live/dead and immunofluorescence assays.
