COMP–PMEPA1 axis promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition in breast cancer cells
This study reveals that cartilage oligomeric matrix protein (COMP) promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EMT) in breast cancer. We identify PMEPA1 (protein TMEPAI) as a novel COMP‐binding partner that mediates EMT via binding to the TSP domains of COMP, establishing the COMP–PMEPA1 axis as a key EMT driver in breast cancer.

Coagulation and fragmentation processes with evolving size and shape profiles : a semigroup approach
We investigate a class of bivariate coagulation-fragmentation equations. These equations describe the evolution of a system of particles that are characterised not only by a discrete size variable but also by a shape variable which can be either discrete

Existence of positive solutions for Kirchhoff problems
We study problems for the Kirchhoff equation $$\displaylines{ -\Big(a+b\int_{\Omega}|\nabla u|^2dx\Big)\Delta u =\nu u^3+ Q(x)u^{q},\quad \text{in }\Omega, \cr u=0, \quad \text{on }\partial\Omega, }$$ where $\Omega\subset \mathbb{R}^3$ is a ...

Pre‐analytical handling critically determines liquid biopsy performance. This study defines practical best‐practice conditions for cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) and extracellular vesicle–derived DNA (evDNA), showing how processing time, storage conditions, tube type, and plasma input volume affect DNA integrity and mutation detection.

Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

Existence of travelling wave solutions for a model of tumour invasion
The existence of travelling wave solutions to a haptotaxis dominated model is analysed. A version of this model has been derived in Perumpanani et al. (1999) to describe tumour invasion, where diffusion is neglected as it is assumed to play only a small ...

Existence of solutions for Kirchhoff type equations
In this article, we prove the existence of solutions for Kirchhoff type equations with Dirichlet boundary-value condition. We use the Mountain Pass Theorem in critical point theory, without the (PS) condition.

Interrogating the immune landscape of microsatellite stable RAS‐mutated colon cancer
COLOSSUS project RAS‐mutated MSS colon cancer study explored transcriptomics and immune cell density by immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunoscore (IS), ISIC/TuLIS scores, mutation counts, and detected different prevalences but similar microenvironment composition across immune markers with clinical relevance for future immunotherapy combination ...

Optimal control of stochastic partial differential equations in Banach spaces [PDF]
In this thesis we study optimal control problems in Banach spaces for stochastic partial differential equations. We investigate two different approaches.
