Existence Theory and Contemporary Culture
This chapter builds further on ‘existence theory,’ an approach to sociological theorizing inspired by existentialist philosophy. In particular, it examines contemporary cultural developments through the lens of this theoretico-methodological perspective. The chapter consists of two parts.

EXOSC10, an essential nuclear RNA exosome‐associated 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease, is inhibited by the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil (5‐FU), and EXOSC10 depletion increases 5‐FU sensitivity. The colon‐cancer variant EXOSC10S402T, located in a proteolysis motif, is stable and nuclear but nonfunctional in vivo.

Existence theory for nonlinear volterra integral and differential equations
In this paper we prove the existence theorems for the integrodifferential equation where in first part are functions with values in a Banach space and the integral is taken in the sense of Bochner. In second part are weakly–weakly sequentially

RNA profiling of circulating extracellular vesicles (EVs) from blood samples of men undergoing prostate biopsy identifies transcripts associated with clinically significant prostate cancer. Integrative analysis with public tumor datasets links EV‐derived gene signatures to tumor stage and progression‐free survival, highlighting CASP3, XRCC2, and RIT1 ...

Existence of solutions to (2,p)-Laplacian equations by Morse theory
In this article, we use Morse theory to investigate a type of Dirichlet boundary value problem related to the (2,p)-Laplacian operator, where the nonlinear term is characterized by the first eigenvalue of the Laplace operator.

A Couple of Semantic Suppositions and Some Arguments for “The Principality of Being”: A Critical Survey [PDF]
Transcendental philosophers due to a number of reasons have defended “principality of existence”. Moreover aforementioned theory is grounded on some pre-assumptions.

Circulating tumor cells (CTCs) and plasma cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) were analyzed to detect ESR1 mutations and methylation in patients with advanced breast cancer. CTC‐derived DNA showed higher sensitivity for mutation detection and revealed complementary genetic and epigenetic alterations, highlighting the added value of CTC analysis for understanding ...

Interpreting the effects of DNA polymerase variants at the structural level
Using MAVISp and molecular dynamics simulations, we analyzed over 60 000 missense variants in POLE and POLD1 from ClinVar, COSMIC, cBioPortal, and saturation mutagenesis. Identified mechanistic indicators, including stability, binding, and long‐range, enable structural interpretation, providing ACMG‐like evidence for possible reclassification of VUS ...

The Tragi-Comic Lives of Theory: Values of a Simmelian Existence
The philosopher and sociologist Georg Simmel made repeated efforts throughout his career to address the crisis of modern culture by drawing on a wide repertoire of scholarly discourses and imaginative fictions.

Both cg12821679MAPRE3 methylation and MAPRE3 expression are significantly associated with overall survival (OS) of non‐small cell lung cancer. Meanwhile, MAPRE3 expression significantly modified the effect of smoking cessation on OS. Smoking cessation benefits OS merely for patients with high MAPRE3 expression.
