Genomic Variation Underpins Genetic Divergence and Differing Salt Resilience in Sesbania bispinosa

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Sesbania, a leguminous halophyte, thrives in saline soils. Comparative genomics reveals key genomic variations—particularly chromosomal inversions—are identified as contributors to population differentiation and salt resilience. These findings advance the understanding of genomic variation driving evolution and phenotypic differentiation and offer ...

Clinical Features, Molecular Biology, and the Metastatic Microenvironment in Lung Cancer Brain Metastases: Implications for Treatment Decisions

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Brain metastases (BM) from lung cancer are aggressive with poor prognosis. This review covers clinical features, diagnosis, early metastasis, and multi‐omics‐elucidated mechanisms, especially the tumor microenvironment of lung cancer with BM. It also discusses preclinical models, signaling pathways, and emerging therapies.

Counterbalancing O‐GlcNAcylation and STAT3 Phosphorylation in Ventral Tegmental Area Dopaminergic Neurons Mediates Behavioral Adaptations to Acute Restraint Stress

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Acute restraint stress enhances STAT3Ser727 phosphorylation in dopaminergic neurons in mice. This modification promotes the upregulation of GABBR2 and GABRB3, reduces neuronal activity, and contributes to anxiety‐like behavior and diminished reward‐seeking following stress exposure.

Glucose‐Responsive PAGR1‐Regulated Skeletal Muscle Gene Program Controls Systemic Glucose Homeostasis and Hepatic Metabolism

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The study reveals that PAXIP1‐associated glutamate‐rich protein 1 (PAGR1), a glucose‐responsive regulator in skeletal muscle, modulates systemic glucose homeostasis and hepatic metabolism. Muscle‐specific PAGR1 deletion enhances insulin signaling, promotes glucose transporter 4 (GLUT4) translocation, and protects against high‐fat‐diet‐induced insulin ...
