Detection of Exoplanet Systems In Kepler Light Curves Using Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy System

2018 International Conference on Intelligent Systems (IS), 2018
The paper investigates the usability of fuzzy inference systems, namely ANFIS to assist in the detection of exoplanet transit events from time-series data of Flux intensity values from host stars.

Solar system, exoplanets, and anthropic principle

Bulletin of the Crimean Astrophysical Observatory, 2009
It is shown that the planetary distances of the Solar System are distributed according to the L0 resonance, where L0 = cP0 = 19.24 a.u. is the wavelength of the “cosmological oscillation” of the Universe (whose nature is unknown). Here, c is the speed of light and P0 = 160 min is the period of pulsations of the Sun and the Universe, which turned out to

Planet-Planet Interactions in Exoplanet Systems

2022
The gravitational interactions of planets in multiplanetary systems can have effects ranging from tiny orbital alterations to severe instability and everything in between. In this thesis, I discuss three applications of planet-planet interactions. First, I demonstrate using N-body simulations that a commonly-used analytical approximation can have large

Craft your own exoplanet system bracelet

How do you showcase planetary system architecture at public events, in a fun, simple, interactive and engaging way, while producing a durable impact? This was the premise that led us to develop the concept of "Make your own exoplanet system bracelet".

General AMD-stability criterion for exoplanet systems

The increasing discovery of extrasolar systems has made it necessary to study their stability. In this work, we present a generalization of the AMD-stability criterion defined by Laskar and Petit (2017), which defines a critical AMD-value below which close encounters are prevented and the system can be considered stable.

Catalogue of Exoplanets in Multiple-Star-Systems

2017
Cataloguing the data of exoplanetary systems becomes more and more important, due to the fact that they conclude the observations and support the theoretical studies. Since 1995 there is a database which list most of the known exoplanets (The Extrasolar Planets Encyclopaedia is available at http://exoplanet.eu/ and described at Schneider et al.
