Osteosarcoma Cell‐Derived Migrasomes Promote Macrophage M2 Polarization to Aggravate Osteosarcoma Proliferation and Metastasis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Migrasomes are newly discovered organelles in migrating cells. This study finds that osteosarcoma cell‐derived migrasomes promote the tumor‐promoting phenotype of macrophages and further aggravate osteosarcoma malignant progression via milk fat globule‐EGF factor 8.

Injectable pH Responsive Conductive Hydrogel for Intelligent Delivery of Metformin and Exosomes to Enhance Cardiac Repair after Myocardial Ischemia‐Reperfusion Injury

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Injectable pH responsive conductive hydrogel for intelligent delivery of metformin and exosomes to alleviate myocardial ischemia‐reperfusion injury. The hydrogel responds to the weakly acidic microenvironment of ischemic injury and can significantly reduce the production of intracellular ROS and enhance cardiac conduction, thereby resisting apoptosis ...

Ligamentum arteriosum and its telocytes: An ultrastructure description

open access: yesThe Anatomical Record, Volume 306, Issue 1, Page 187-192, January 2023., 2023
Abstract Results from my study have shown in 2022 the existence of telocytes (TCs) in mice ligamentum arteriosum (LA). Telocytes (TCs) are unique interstitial or stromal cells of mesodermal origin, defined by long cellular extensions called telopodes (Tps) which form a network, connecting them to surrounding cells. These Tps have dilated portions named

Exosomes and exosome composite scaffolds in periodontal tissue engineering

open access: yesFrontiers in Bioengineering and Biotechnology
Promoting complete periodontal regeneration of damaged periodontal tissues, including dental cementum, periodontal ligament, and alveolar bone, is one of the challenges in the treatment of periodontitis. Therefore, it is urgent to explore new treatment strategies for periodontitis.

NETs‐CD44‐IL‐17A Feedback Loop Drives Th17‐Mediated Inflammation in Behçet's Uveitis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In experimental autoimmune uveitis (EAU), neutrophils interact with T helper 17 (Th17) cells through neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs) to exert a pro‐inflammatory effect. In vitro and in vivo experiments identify that NETs promote IL‐17A secretion in Th17 cells via CD44, and increasing IL‐17A further induces more NETs formation.

Predictive capacity of a miRNA panel in identifying teratoma in post‐chemotherapy consolidation surgeries

open access: yesBJUI Compass, Volume 4, Issue 1, Page 81-87, January 2023., 2023
Abstract Objectives To investigate the utility of a novel serum miRNA biomarker panel to distinguish teratoma from nonmalignant necrotic/fibrotic tissues or nonviable tumours in patients with NSGCT undergoing post‐chemotherapy consolidation surgery.

Exosomes: Membrane-associated proteins, challenges and perspectives

open access: yesBiochemistry and Biophysics Reports
Membrane proteins determine the precise function of each membrane and, therefore, the function of each cell type. These proteins play essential roles in cell physiology, participating in the maintenance of the cell metabolism, its homeostasis or ...

Exosomes and chronic rhinosinusitis

open access: yesWorld Journal of Otorhinolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, 2018
The objective of this manuscripts to review current knowledge regarding exosomes as they relate to the physiology and pathology of the human nose as well as their role as biomarkers of chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps (CRSwNP).Exosomes are 30–150 nm membrane‐bound vesicles secreted by virtually all cell types.

Affinity‐Based Isolation and One‐Pot Analysis of Extracellular Vesicles from Biofluids Using Phase Separated Zwitterionic Coacervates

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study presents a novel method for affinity‐based isolation and analysis of extracellular vesicles from biofluids using phase‐separated zwitterionic coacervates functionalized with a membrane‐sensing peptide. This technology minimizes nonspecific binding, enabling high‐yield isolation and direct one‐pot biomarker profiling.
