Local Fractional Series Expansion Method for Solving Wave and Diffusion Equations on Cantor Sets
We proposed a local fractional series expansion method to solve the wave and diffusion equations on Cantor sets. Some examples are given to illustrate the efficiency and accuracy of the proposed method to obtain analytical solutions to differential ...

This paper reveals how human lactoferrin–albumin fusion (hLF‐HSA) potently suppresses lung adenocarcinoma cell migration. hLF‐HSA upregulates NHE7, leading to Golgi alkalization, disruption of the Golgi secretome, downregulation of MMP1, and reversal of EMT. These findings suggest a novel Golgi‐targeting strategy to suppress cancer cell migration.

The separation transformation method is extended to the n+1-dimensional Klein-Gordon-Zakharov equation describing the interaction of the Langmuir wave and the ion acoustic wave in plasma. We first reduce the n+1-dimensional Klein-Gordon-Zakharov equation

Differential equations and Feynman integrals
The role of differential equations in the process of calculating Feynman integrals is shown. An example of a diagram is given, in the calculation of which the method of differential equations was introduced, the properties of the inverse-mass-expansion ...

Why human connection is the true metric of research success
Human‐centred mentorship can be shaped by mentor attributes, actions, intrinsic drive and career ambition. Drawing on reflections across Singapore and France, as well as workshop insights from FEBS‐IUBMB ENABLE 2024, this article shows that human‐centred mentorship creates the conditions for sustainable growth, well‐being and retention in research ...

An eigenfunction expansion associated with a two-parameter system of differential equations. III
SynopsisWe continue with the work of earlier papers concerning the use of partial dilferential equations to prove the uniform convergence of the eigenfunction expansion associated witha left definite two-parameter system of ordinary differential ...

YIPFα1A expression is regulated by multilayered molecular mechanisms
YIPFα1A, a five‐pass Golgi protein, is regulated at multiple layers. (1) Rare‐codon enrichment drives translation‐coupled mRNA decay. (2) A proximal 3′‐UTR element stabilizes mRNA. (3) A distal 3′‐UTR element included by alternate poly(A) site usage represses translation, which can be overridden by the proximal 3′‐UTR element.

Magnus' expansion as an approximation tool for ordinary differential equations [PDF]
Thesis (M.S.) University of Alaska Fairbanks, 2005Magnus' expansion approximates the solution of a linear, nonconstant-coefficient system of ordinary differential equations (ODEs) as the exponential of an infinite series of integrals of commutators of ...
