Gender Differences and Digital Learning Games – One Size Does not fit all [PDF]
The intrinsic motivation demonstrated towards digital games provides the opportunity for its use as a learning tool irrespective of gender differences. This has resulted in the combination of the motivation of games with curricular content referred to as

Experimentation in Gaming: an Adoption Guide
Experimentation is a cornerstone of successful game development and live operations, enabling teams to optimize player engagement, retention, and monetization. This article provides a comprehensive guide to implementing experimentation in gaming, structured around the game development lifecycle and the marketing mix. From pre-launch concept testing and

This plot compares experimental tensile stress–strain curves (with 4 different strain rates) and corresponding modelled curves (obtained using the optimised sets of Voce and Miller–Norton parameter values shown). The inferred M‐N values, characterizing the creep, are very similar to those obtained via conventional creep testing.

Do the Selfish Mimic Cooperators? Experimental Evidence from Finitely-Repeated Labor Markets [PDF]
Experimental studies have consistently shown that cooperative outcomes can emerge even in finitely repeated games. Such outcomes are justified by existing reputation building models, which suggest that cooperative outcomes can be sustained if some ...

In Situ Micromechanical Study of Bimodal γ′–γ″ Precipitate Assemblies in Ni–Cr–Al–Nb Superalloy
A Ni–Cr–Al–Nb superalloy with a bimodal γ′–γ″ precipitate distribution is developed. Composite precipitate assemblies form through heterogeneous nucleation, effectively impeding dislocation motion. Micropillar compression reveals high strength at room and elevated temperatures, governed by precipitate shearing, with coupled faulting mechanisms ...

Scandium (Sc)‐doped AlCoCrFeMo HEA coatings are fabricated via flame spraying with 0.1, 0.3, and 0.5 wt% Sc additions. Among these, the HEA‐Sc0.3 coating exhibits the highest corrosion resistance, indicated by a more positive corrosion potential and lower current density.

Nondestructive Testing of Welded Composite Metal Foams
X‐ray computed tomography (CT) is used to evaluate welded steel–steel composite metal foam (CMF) joints of two density classes. It reports variation in postweld spatial void distribution and correlates it to weld‐induced changes, mechanical performance, and failure within welded CMF panels.

Voluntary contributing in a neighborhood public good game: An experimental study [PDF]
In repeated Public Good Games contributions might be influenced by different motives. The variety of motives for deciding between (more or less) free-riding probably explains the seemingly endless tradition of theoretical and experimental studies of ...
