Discrete-Time Implementation of Continuous Terminal Algorithm With Implicit-Euler Method
This paper proposes an alternative implementation for a continuous terminal algorithm (CTA) proposed by Torres-Gonzalez et al. The original CTA is a continuous version of the twisting algorithm (TA), which mitigates the chattering by integrating the ...

Cancer progression is regulated by the dynamic matrix code of the tumor microenvironment, which influences cellular behavior and disease development. Importantly, matrix remodeling in three‐dimensional cancer models more accurately reflects in vivo conditions compared to conventional two‐dimensional systems.

The process of internalization of the Shiga toxin A subunit via formation of a complex with the Shiga toxin B subunit, which specifically binds to the Gb3 receptor. The peptide is designed to act as a carrier of drugs into cancer cells. Here, we explored the potential of peptides derived from the catalytic A subunit of Shiga toxin (STxA) to be drug ...

Explicit Symplectic Integrators with Adaptive Time Steps in Curved Spacetimes
Abstract Recently, our group developed explicit symplectic methods for curved spacetimes that are not split into several explicitly integrable parts but are via appropriate time transformations. Such time-transformed explicit symplectic integrators should have employed adaptive time steps in principle, but they are often difficult in ...

The role of miR‐335‐5p in the redifferentiation of BRAF p.V600E thyroid cancers
The BRAF p.V600E mutation promotes thyroid cancer dedifferentiation and radioiodine resistance. Using a network approach, we identified miR‐335‐5p as a key regulator of BRAF‐mutated thyroid tumors. Restoring miR‐335‐5p increased thyroid‐specific gene expression and iodine uptake in cells and organoids.
