A Wireless, Passive Multimodal Wearable Sensor With Decoupled Sensing Capabilities
A wireless passive multimodal electronic skin is presented for the simultaneous perception of pressure, humidity, and odor through a frequency‐divided LC resonator array. The decoupled sensing architecture suppresses cross‐interference and enables independent signal readout under superimposed stimuli while maintaining high stability.

Universal Strategy for Phase‐Selective Synthesis of Monolayer TMDs via Colloidal Chemistry
ABSTRACT Colloidal synthesis of monolayer transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs) remains challenging regarding uniform size, thickness, and crystalline phase. While significant progress has been made in phase engineering, a unified chemical strategy for on‐demand selection of both 2H and 1T′ phases across multiple TMD systems within a single chemical ...

MECHANISM OF EXPLOSIVE WELDING OF METALS
Mechanism of explosive welding is discussed. The experimental date indicate that the explosive bonding interface forms behind the collision point and the physical properties of metals affect considerably this process. The usefulness of hydrodynamic model for describing the explosive welding process is called in question.

Most massive stars end their lives with core collapse. However, it is not clear which explode as a core-collapse supernova (CCSN), leaving behind a neutron star, and which collapse to a black hole, aborting the explosion.

Nano‐Architected Metallic Metamaterial With Enhanced Fatigue Resistance via Dislocation Starvation
Nanoscale Ni single crystals exhibit remarkable fatigue resistance over an order of magnitude higher than that of bulk single crystals through dislocation starvation. By translating this mechanism into geometric nano‐architecture, nano‐architected Ni single‐crystal metamaterials achieve about twice the fatigue resistance of the bulk, despite their ...

Rocks fracturing with explosive-mechanical means

Micro‐topographical cues applied through temporally controlled microscale confinement improve the reproducibility, spatial organization, and neurosensory‐associated features of pluripotent stem cell‐derived inner ear organoids. Integration with a vascularized organoid platform further enables controlled investigation of vascular‐epithelial interactions
