The characteristics and mechanism of NaHCO3 compound fly ash in suppressing gas explosions in pipeline networks

open access: yesScientific Reports
Gas has been widely concerned due to its importance in the industrial and energy fields. In order to improve the inhibition effect of gas explosion, under the self-constructed pipe network system, the inhibition of gas explosion by composite inhibitor of

Optimal Control Drives Ultrafast and Energy‐Efficient Magnetization Switching in Van der Waals Magnets

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The accelerating expansion of data‐centric technologies is sharply increasing the energy burden of information storage, placing unprecedented pressure on the efficiency of magnetic switching. Conventional field‐driven reversal, once the foundation of magnetic memory, has become impractical in modern architectures due to its high energy cost ...

Programming of Complex Magnetic Profiles Enforced by 4D Printed Magnetic LCE Actuators

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A 4D printing‐enabled magnetic programming strategy is introduced in which thermally actuated liquid crystal elastomers are magnetized in their target shape to encode complex three‐dimensional magnetic profiles. The resulting actuators achieve multistate shape morphing and programmable locomotion under low magnetic fields, without requiring specialized

Mechanism‐Driven Nanoformulations for Cognitive Impairment Induced by Intermittent Hypoxia and Periodontitis

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Clinically, intermittent hypoxia (IH) is often accompanied by periodontitis, which accelerates cognitive impairment induced by IH. Novel Janus mesoporous gold‐silica nanoformulations (RVG‐Au&mSiO2‐TPP‐VB) enable intranasal delivery, achieve hierarchical targeting to neuronal mitochondria, effectively scavenge reactive oxygen species, inhibit the HIF‐1α/

Deciphering the Explosion Mechanism of Type Ia Supernovae Using Their Remnants. II. A Deep Dive into Double Detonations with SNR 0509-67.5

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal
Type Ia supernovae (SNe) occur when a white dwarf (WD) explodes via runaway thermonuclear burning. To date, major uncertainties remain regarding the nature of the explosion mechanism and its observable signatures.

A Geometrically Transient Platform for Bioelectronic Implants

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Minimally invasive bioelectronic implants often compromise performance for smaller sizes. To resolve this optimization dilemma, a wireless bioelectronic implant with a transient geometry is introduced (MiFi). The origami‐inspired device miniaturizes up to sixfold for syringe insertion and autonomously unfolds post‐implantation.

Experimental investigation of methane explosion fracturing in bedding shales: Load characteristics and three-dimensional fracture propagation

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mining Science and Technology
Methane in-situ explosion fracturing (MISEF) enhances permeability in shale reservoirs by detonating desorbed methane to generate detonation waves in perforations. Fracture propagation in bedding shale under varying explosion loads remains unclear.

High‐Entropy Ceramic‐Enhanced Deformable Triboelectric Nanogenerator for Noncontact Biomechanical and Raindrop Energy Harvesting

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A large‐area, deformable high‐entropy‐ceramic (HEC)‐doped triboelectric nanogenerator with a trilayer architecture is developed, consisting of an HEC‐doped triboelectric layer, a graphite‐like textile charge‐storage layer, and stretchable carbon black electrodes.
