On the Exponential Convergence of the Kaczmarz Algorithm [PDF]
The Kaczmarz algorithm (KA) is a popular method for solving a system of linear equations. In this note we derive a new exponential convergence result for the KA. The key allowing us to establish the new result is to rewrite the KA in such a way that its solution path can be interpreted as the output from a particular dynamical system.

Global exponential convergence of delayed inertial Cohen–Grossberg neural networks
In this paper, the exponential convergence of delayed inertial Cohen–Grossberg neural networks (CGNNs) is studied. Two methods are adopted to discuss the inertial CGNNs, one is expressed as two first-order differential equations by selecting a variable ...

Solving the Bethe-Salpeter equation with exponential convergence
The Bethe-Salpeter equation plays a crucial role in understanding the physics of correlated fermions, relating to optical excitations in solids as well as resonances in high-energy physics.

Quadratures with super power convergence
The calculation of quadratures arises in many physical and technical applications. The replacement of integration variables is proposed, which dramatically increases the accuracy of the formula of averages.

Convergence of Special Sequences of Semi-Exponential Operators
Several papers, mainly written by J. de la Call and co-authors, contain modifications of classical sequences of positive linear operators to obtain new sequences converging to limits which are not necessarily the identity operator.

Feedback exponential stabilization of stochastic quantum systems based on state space division
In this paper, the global exponential stabilization of two-level stochastic quantum systems is achieved by using measurement-based feedback strategies, including state feedback and noise-assisted feedback, and the state convergence rate is improved by ...

Almost sure exponential stability of backward Euler–Maruyama discretizations for hybrid stochastic differential equations [PDF]
This is a continuation of the first author's earlier paper [1] jointly with Pang and Deng, in which the authors established some sufficient conditions under which the Euler-Maruyama (EM) method can reproduce the almost sure exponential stability of the ...

Kernel convergence of hyperbolic components. [PDF]
We study families $G(\lambda,\cdot)$ of entire functions that are approximated by a sequence of families $G_n(\lambda,\cdot)$ of entire functions, where $\lambda\in\C$ is a parameter.

Subgaussian concentration and rates of convergence in directed polymers [PDF]
We consider directed random polymers in (d+1) dimensions with nearly gamma i.i.d. disorder. We study the partition function ZN,ω and establish exponential concentration of log ZN,ω about its mean on the subgaussian scale √N/log N .
