Statistical modelling for Bladder cancer disease using the NLT-W distribution
In data science, it is frequent that new and sophisticated computational methods and tools are used to build predictive models to perform time to event data analysis.

This study introduces a novel statistical model called the modified Fréchet‐exponentiated exponential (MFrEE) distribution. The existing exponentiated exponential (EE) distribution, while useful for lifetime and reliability data, has limited flexibility in capturing diverse hazard shapes and may not adequately model extreme events or tail behavior.

A new mixed beta distribution and structural properties with applications [PDF]
In this paper, we introduce a new six-parameter distribution, namely Beta Exponentiated Weibull Poisson (BEWP) which is obtained by compounding between the exponentiated Weibull Poisson and beta distributions. We propose its basic structural properties

Modeling COVID-19 Data with a Novel Extended Exponentiated Class of Distributions
The COVID-19 epidemic has affected every aspect of daily life since December 2019 and caused massive damage to the world. The coronavirus epidemic has affected more than 150 countries around the world. Many researchers have tried to develop a statistical

This study introduces the four‐parameter Harris Generalized Kappa Distribution (HGKD), extending the two‐parameter Kappa model to better handle highly skewed data. Key statistical properties such as moments, entropies, and reliability measures are derived, and the model's applicability is demonstrated through real‐world lifetime datasets in finance and

A Generalization of the Exponential-Poisson Distribution
The two-parameter distribution known as exponential-Poisson (EP) distribution, which has decreasing failure rate, was introduced by Kus (2007). In this paper we generalize the EP distribution and show that the failure rate of the new distribution can be ...

This study introduces a new extension of the unit Weibull distribution called the unit power generalized Weibull distribution (UPGWD). The UPGWD arises from inverse exponential function transformation of the power generalized Weibull distribution.

Study on the Problem of Estimation of Parameters of Generalized Exponential Distribution [PDF]
Mudholkar and Srivastava, Freimer (1995) proposed three-parameter exponentiated Weibull distribution. Two-parameter exponentiated exponential or generalized exponential (GE) distribution is a particular member of the exponentiated Weibull distribution ...

We develop the New Heavy‐Tailed Cosine‐Weibull (NHTCW) distribution by combining trigonometric transforms with heavy‐tail theory. With closed‐form statistical properties, NHTCW outperforms 7 other models across COVID‐19 mortality, medical survival, and device failure datasets, proving particularly effective for modeling extreme biomedical and ...
