Clustering Gene Expression Patterns

Journal of Computational Biology, 1999
Recent advances in biotechnology allow researchers to measure expression levels for thousands of genes simultaneously, across different conditions and over time. Analysis of data produced by such experiments offers potential insight into gene function and regulatory mechanisms.

Experiment Specific Expression Patterns

Journal of Computational Biology, 2011
The differential analysis of genes between microarrays from several experimental conditions or treatments routinely estimates which genes change significantly between groups. As genes are never regulated individually, observed behavior may be a consequence of changes in other genes.

Evolution of spatial expression pattern

Evolution & Development, 2003
Summary How can complex patterns of gene expression evolve? Understanding the near‐precise repeatability of morphology created by animal development, through the interactions between morphogens and networks of transcription factors, is one of the most difficult outstanding problems in developmental biology.

Patterns of brachyury expression in chordomas

Annals of Diagnostic Pathology, 2021
Chordomas are rare malignant midline tumors, presumed to arise from notochordal remnants. This was further suggested by the discovery of the brachyury in chordomas pathogenesis. Its immunohistochemical expression has become the principal adjunct in the diagnosis of chordomas.

Expression Language Patterns

2012
The expression language in SSIS might appropriately be referred to as the glue that holds the product together. Expressions in SSIS provide a relatively simple and easy-to-use interface to allow data developers to introduce dynamic logic into the ETL infrastructure.
