Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

The fundamental aim of this article is to investigate an extension of the generalized Beta function introduced in (Chaudhry et al. in J. Comput. Appl. Math. 78(1):19–32, 1997) from two variables to three or more variables. The properties of such extended

Extended Beta Distribution and Mixture Distributions with applications to Bayesian analysis
An extended form of beta distribution by Al-Saleh and Agarwal, is further extended which has an additional two shape parameters k and l. Introduction of new shape parameters help to express extended beta distribution not only as a mixture of ...

Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

Use of the Extended Fujita method for representing the molecular weight and molecular weight distributions of native and processed oat beta-glucans [PDF]
Beta 1–3, 1–4 glucans (“beta-glucans”) are one of the key components of the cell wall of cereals, complementing the main structural component cellulose.

Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

The class of beta regression models is commonly used by practitioners to model variables that assume values in the standard unit interval (0, 1). It is based on the assumption that the dependent variable is beta-distributed and that its mean is related ...

COMP–PMEPA1 axis promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition in breast cancer cells
This study reveals that cartilage oligomeric matrix protein (COMP) promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EMT) in breast cancer. We identify PMEPA1 (protein TMEPAI) as a novel COMP‐binding partner that mediates EMT via binding to the TSP domains of COMP, establishing the COMP–PMEPA1 axis as a key EMT driver in breast cancer.

The generalized order of growth and generalized type of an entire function \(F^{\alpha,\beta}\) (generalized biaxisymmetric potentials) have been obtained in terms of the sequence \(E_n^p(F^{\alpha,\beta},\Sigma_r^{\alpha,\beta})\) of best real ...
