Existence of non-exotic traversable wormholes in squared trace extended gravity theory
An extended gravity theory is used to explore the possibility of non-exotic matter traversable wormholes. In the extended gravity theory, additional terms linear and quadratic in the trace of the energy momentum tensor are considered in the Einstein ...

Robust Optimization of Energy Hubs Operation Based on Extended Affine Arithmetic
Traditional energy systems were planned and operated independently, but the diffusion of distributed and renewable energy systems led to the development of new modeling concepts, such as the energy hub.

Bridging the gap: Multi‐stakeholder perspectives of molecular diagnostics in oncology
Although molecular diagnostics is transforming cancer care, implementing novel technologies remains challenging. This study identifies unmet needs and technology requirements through a two‐step stakeholder involvement. Liquid biopsies for monitoring applications and predictive biomarker testing emerge as key unmet needs. Technology requirements vary by

A note on the von Bertalanffy growth function concerning the allocation of surplus energy to reproduction [PDF]
We propose an extended form of the von Bertalanffy growth function (VBGF), where the allocation of surplus energy to reproduction is considered. Any function can be used in our model to describe the ratio of energy allocation for reproduction to that ...

A synthetic benzoxazine dimer derivative targets c‐Myc to inhibit colorectal cancer progression
Benzoxazine dimer derivatives bind to the bHLH‐LZ region of c‐Myc, disrupting c‐Myc/MAX complexes, which are evaluated from SAR analysis. This increases ubiquitination and reduces cellular c‐Myc. Impairing DNA repair mechanisms is shown through proteomic analysis.

Dynamic Knowledge Management in an Agent-Based Extended Green Cloud Simulator
Cloud infrastructures operate in highly dynamic environments, and today, energy-focused optimization become crucial. Moreover, the concept of extended cloud infrastructure, which, among others, uses green energy, started to gain traction. This introduces

Proposal to detect an emission of unusual super-high energy electrons in electron storage rings
According to an extended Lorentz–Einstein mass formula taken into the uncertainty principle, it is predicted that the electron beams passing accelerating electric field should with a small probability generate abnormal super-high energy electrons which ...

Energy Landscape and Dynamics of Biomolecules Extended Abstract [PDF]
Proteins are not isolated homogeneous systems. Each protein can exist in a very large number of conformations (conformational substates) that are characterized by an energy landscape. The main conformational motions, similar to the α and β fluctuations in glasses, are linked to fluctuations in the bulk solvent and the hydration shell.

CDK11 inhibition stabilises the tumour suppressor p53 and triggers the production of an alternative p21WAF1 splice variant p21L, through the inactivation of the spliceosomal protein SF3B1. Unlike the canonical p21WAF1 protein, p21L is localised in the cytoplasm and has reduced cell cycle‐blocking activity.
