LANE TRACKING USING DEPENDENT EXTENDED TARGET MODELS [PDF]

open access: yes, 2021
Detection of multiple-lane markings (lane-line) on road surfaces is an essential aspect of autonomous vehicles. Although several approaches have been proposed to detect lanes, detecting multiple lane-lines consistently, particularly across a stream of ...

Affinity Propagation Based Measurement Partition Algorithm for Multiple Extended Target Tracking

open access: yesLeida xuebao, 2015
It is difficult to accurately and rapidly partition measurement sets of multiple extended targets in cluttered environment. Hence the affinity propagation method is introduced and a novel measurement partition algorithm is proposed.

Phosphatidylinositol 4‐kinase as a target of pathogens—friend or foe?

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This graphical summary illustrates the roles of phosphatidylinositol 4‐kinases (PI4Ks). PI4Ks regulate key cellular processes and can be hijacked by pathogens, such as viruses, bacteria and parasites, to support their intracellular replication. Their dual role as essential host enzymes and pathogen cofactors makes them promising drug targets.

Adaptive Target Birth Intensity for ET-PHD Filter

open access: yesMATEC Web of Conferences, 2018
An adaptive tracking algorithm based on Extended target Probability Hypothesis Density (ETPHD) filter is proposed for extended target tracking problem with priori unknown target birth intensity. The algorithm is implemented by gaussian mixture, where the ...

Protein pyrophosphorylation by inositol pyrophosphates — detection, function, and regulation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Protein pyrophosphorylation is an unusual signaling mechanism that was discovered two decades ago. It can be driven by inositol pyrophosphate messengers and influences various cellular processes. Herein, we summarize the research progress and challenges of this field, covering pathways found to be regulated by this posttranslational modification as ...

Spacial Elliptical Model for Extended Target Tracking Using Laser Measurements

open access: yes, 2022
S.33-38This paper presents an approach for tracking extended targets using measurements from Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR), where the measurement's source is distributed on the contour of the target extent.

Wavefront Sensing Based on Partially Occluded and Extended Scene Target

open access: yesIEEE Photonics Journal, 2017
In order to overcome the shortcomings of traditional wavefront achieving techniques, which cannot capture the wavefront in the case that an obstacle presents in front of the reference source, we propose and demonstrate a new wavefront measuring method by

Structural instability impairs function of the UDP‐xylose synthase 1 Ile181Asn variant associated with short‐stature genetic syndrome in humans

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
The Ile181Asn variant of human UDP‐xylose synthase (hUXS1), associated with a short‐stature genetic syndrome, has previously been reported as inactive. Our findings demonstrate that Ile181Asn‐hUXS1 retains catalytic activity similar to the wild‐type but exhibits reduced stability, a looser oligomeric state, and an increased tendency to precipitate ...

Extended target tracking filter with intermittent observations

open access: yesIET Signal Processing, 2016
This study addresses the problem of tracking extended target with intermittent observations. Based on practical applications, two Bernoulli distributed random variables are employed to describe the intermittent phenomenon of the positional measurements and the measurements of target extent, respectively.
