Model building by coset space dimensional reduction scheme using eight-dimensional coset spaces
We investigate the twelve-dimensional gauge-Higgs unification models with an eight- dimensional coset space as the extra space. For each model, we apply the coset space dimensional reduction procedure and examine the particle contents of the resulting ...

Compact extra dimensions as the source of primordial black holes
This article discusses a model of primordial black hole (PBH) formation at the reheating stage. These small/massive black holes appear due to the specific properties of the compact extra dimensions.

Extra dimensions with light and heavy neutral leptons: an application to CEνNS
We explore the possibility of relating extra dimensions with light and heavy Dirac-type neutral leptons and develop a framework for testing them in various laboratory experiments.

ABSTRACT Background An internal tandem duplication in the gene encoding Fms‐like tyrosine kinase 3 (FLT3‐ITD) is associated with high relapse risk and poor prognosis in acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and plays a crucial role in treatment decisions. Measurable residual disease (MRD) analysis of FLT3‐ITD during and after treatment has shown prognostic ...

Gravity and Large Extra Dimensions
The idea that quantum gravity can be realized at the TeV scale is extremely attractive to theorists and experimentalists alike. This proposal leads to extra spacial dimensions large compared to the Planck scale.

Protein pyrophosphorylation by inositol pyrophosphates — detection, function, and regulation
Protein pyrophosphorylation is an unusual signaling mechanism that was discovered two decades ago. It can be driven by inositol pyrophosphate messengers and influences various cellular processes. Herein, we summarize the research progress and challenges of this field, covering pathways found to be regulated by this posttranslational modification as ...

Cosmological perturbations from five-dimensional inflation
It was recently proposed that five-dimensional inflation can relate the causal size of the observable universe to the present weakness of gravitational interactions by blowing up an extra compact dimension from the microscopic fundamental length of ...

Calpain small subunit homodimerization is robust and calcium‐independent
Calpains dimerize via penta‐EF‐hand (PEF) domains. Using single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we measured the strength and kinetics of PEF–PEF homodimer binding. The interaction is robust, shows a transient conformational step before dissociation, and remains largely insensitive to Ca2+.

Quasibound and quasinormal modes of a thick brane in Rastall gravity
In this work, we study the gravitational quasinormal modes of the thick brane in Rastall gravity. Using the asymptotic iteration and direct integration methods, we solve the quasinormal frequencies of the Rastall thick brane.

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.
