Three New Ent-Kaurane Diterpenes with Antibacterial Activity from Sigesbeckia orientalis
Three novel ent-kaurane diterpenes, namely sigesbeckin A–C (1–3), in conjunction with eight previously identified analogues (4–11), were isolated from Sigesbeckia orientalis. Their chemical structures were resolved through multiple spectroscopic analyses.

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.
