The Extraction of Technical Coefficients from Input and Output Data
Economic Systems Research, 2007Presumably, input-output coefficients reflect technology, and these coefficients measure the input requirements per unit of product. This concept has been extended to consumption theory, where it models expenditure shares. Input-output coefficients are extracted from the national accounts of an economy, by taking average proportions between inputs and ...

Extracting 1/f noise coefficients for BJT's
IEEE Transactions on Electron Devices, 1994We present a method for extracting the BJT SPICE noise model parameters AF and KF based on a general analysis of the small-signal equivalent circuit and the role of the internal BJT noise sources. The analysis is valid even for transistors with poor current gain and large base-collector conductance, for which the output noise characteristics may not be

Mass transfer coefficients in liquid–liquid extraction
Chemical Engineering and Processing: Process Intensification, 2001Abstract The paper concerns with mass transfer in liquid–liquid extraction, considering that the experimental determination of the individual mass transfer coefficients during liquid–liquid extraction is still considered to be a difficult problem. In this work, the liquid–liquid extraction using a ternary system, water–acetone–carbon tetrachloride ...

Stress coefficient extractions on MOSFET micro-sensors
2011 6th International Microsystems, Packaging, Assembly and Circuits Technology Conference (IMPACT), 2011The MOSFET (Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor Field-Effective-Transistor) has the potential to be a suitable chip stress monitoring tool for microelectronic packaging because the measurements are nondestructive, in-situ, real-time, and the sensor is relatively small.

Extraction from a capillary with a variable diffusion coefficient
Theoretical Foundations of Chemical Engineering, 2008The problem of extraction from a semi-infinite capillary to an open space when the transfer coefficient decreases with coordinate according to power-law or exponential function is studied. Analytical expressions for the recovery yield of the target product applicable for practical calculations at small and large times are derived.

Mass transfer coefficients in a Kühni extraction column
Chemical Engineering Research and Design, 2015Abstract Mass transfer performance has been presented for a 117 diameter Kuhni extraction column using axial diffusion model for two different liquid–liquid systems. The influence of operating variables including the rotor speed as well as the continuous and dispersed phase flowrates on the volumetric overall mass transfer coefficients is ...

EXTRACTION OF MEMBRANE MICROVISCOSITY FROM TRANSLATIONAL AND ROTATIONAL DIFFUSION COEFFICIENTS
Biophysical Journal, 1982We report the exact calculation of the Stokes drag for cylindrical particles diffusing in Saffman's model membrane. Simultaneous prediction of lateral and rotational diffusion coefficients suggests that microviscosities may not be as large as previously thought and implicates the bathing viscosities.

Reassessement of the Kec coefficient of the fumigation–extraction method in a soil profile
Soil Biology and Biochemistry, 1998Abstract We investigated whether the chloroform fumigation extraction (CFE) method could be used to determine the microbial biomass in subsurface soils. The structure of microbial communities may vary over depth and the distribution of their cellular components may result in variations in the value of the calibration coefficient Kec.

EEG Feature extraction using parcor coefficients
Biometrical Journal, 1980AbstractThis study presents pattern recognition experiments of the electroencephalogram. The components of the feature vector are built up by Parcor coefficients which provide a simple structure of the covariance matrix. The BAYES classifier is implemented which is theoretically best in minimizing the error rate.
