[Extrapulmonary tuberculosis].
Up to 25% of tuberculosis cases present extrapulmonary involvement. This is produced by haematogenous and lymphatic spread of the M. tuberculosis bacillus to other organs. The most common locations are the lymph nodes, pleura and the osteoarticular system.
