From static to cosmological solutions of N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 2 supergravity
We obtain cosmological solutions with Kasner-like asymptotics in N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 2 gauged and ungauged supergravity by maximal analytic continuation of planar versions of non-extremal black hole solutions.

Topological stars, black holes and generalized charged Weyl solutions
We construct smooth static bubble solutions, denoted as topological stars, in five-dimensional Einstein-Maxwell theories which are asymptotic to ℝ1,3×S1. The bubbles are supported by allowing electromagnetic fluxes to wrap smooth topological cycles.

In this article, we discuss the existence and uniqueness of extremal solutions for nonlinear initial value problems of fractional differential equations involving the ψ -Caputo derivative. Moreover, some uniqueness results are obtained.

Excited States of Maximal Warm Holes
Recently, the Einstein–Maxwell–scalar model with a non-minimal coupling between the scalar and Maxwell fields was explored. As a result, a new class of black hole solutions with scalar hair was discovered.

Conformal bootstrap deformations
We explore the space of extremal functionals in the conformal bootstrap. By recasting the bootstrap problem as a set of non-linear equations parameterized by the CFT data, we find an efficient algorithm for converging to the extremal solution ...

The extremal solution for the fractional Laplacian [PDF]
We study the extremal solution for the problem $(-Δ)^s u=λf(u)$ in $Ω$, $u\equiv0$ in $\R^n\setminusΩ$, where $λ>0$ is a parameter and $s\in(0,1)$. We extend some well known results for the extremal solution when the operator is the Laplacian to this nonlocal case.

ABSTRACT Background Maintenance hemodialysis (MHD) patients frequently suffer from frailty, characterized by reduced physical function and poor prognosis. Myokines, such as myonectin, secreted by muscle, are emerging regulators of systemic health. This study investigated the relationship between serum myonectin, adipokines (adiponectin, omentin), and ...

Instability of near‐extreme solutions to the Whitham equation
AbstractThe Whitham equation is a model for the evolution of small‐amplitude, unidirectional waves of all wavelengths in shallow water. It has been shown to accurately model the evolution of waves in laboratory experiments. We compute ‐periodic traveling wave solutions of the Whitham equation and numerically study their stability with a focus on ...
