Incomplete Spoiling Correction for 3D T1$$ {T}_1 $$ Mapping

open access: yesMagnetic Resonance in Medicine, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Purpose Assess the impact of incomplete spoiling and spatial saturation on T1$$ {T}_1 $$ mapping using the variable flip angle (VFA) spoiled gradient recalled echo sequence (SPGR). Develop a correction for incomplete spoiling that results in an accurate estimate of T1$$ {T}_1 $$, essential for quantitative MRI applications.

Toward Predicting Pandemic Potential: A Comparative Analysis of Virus‐Host Interactions Between Diverse Influenza A Viruses and the Human Innate Immune System

open access: yesPROTEOMICS, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Zoonotic infections caused by influenza A viruses (IAVs) of animal origin are a major public health concern, as they may represent the initial step toward the emergence of a pandemic strain. The host range of IAVs is shaped by species‐specific virus‐host interactions, and several host barriers have been identified that restrict the adaptation ...

Radiotherapy and Immunotherapy In Hepatocellular Carcinoma: Priming the Tumor Immune Microenvironment From Bench To Bedside

open access: yesPrecision Radiation Oncology, EarlyView.
The dual immunomodulatory network of radiotherapy in hepatocellular carcinoma. Radiotherapy initiates its effects by inducing immunogenic cell death and DNA double‐strand breaks. Immune Activation: Cytosolic DNA from damaged cells activates the cGAS‐STING pathway, triggering IRF3/NF‐κB‐mediated type I interferon production. This enhances dendritic cell
