Crystallization of the F41 Fragment of Flagellin and Data Collection from Extremely Thin Crystals

Journal of Structural Biology, 2000
Flagellin, which constructs supercoiled filaments of the bacterial flagellum, is very difficult to crystallize because of its strong tendency to polymerize. We therefore crystallized the F41 fragment of flagellin, which does not polymerize because terminal regions that play important roles in polymerization are cleaved off.

Apathy is a common behavioral symptom, and its severity is related to disease progression. It has been suggested that Huntington’s disease gene expansion carriers (HDGECs) are unaware of the signs and symptoms of the disease, which may ...

FilmArray® effectively detects all clades of F41 but encounters challenges with other adenovirus species

Journal of Infection and Chemotherapy
The BioFire FilmArray® Gastrointestinal (GI) Panel, a widely used diagnostic tool, is designed to detect the genetic material of 22 common pathogens responsible for gastroenteritis, including viruses, bacteria, and parasites. It can detect human adenovirus (HAdV) species F, particularly serotypes F40 and F41, which are the major causes of diarrhea and ...

CCWI2017: F41 'Why are Line Search Methods Needed for Hydraulic DDM and PDM Solvers?'

2017
It is common that non-convergence problems occur for simulations under normal or abnormal operations. Among the main causes, there are the use of sublinear functions for calculation of the hydraulic steady-state, some derivative issues and an ill-conditioned iteration matrix in the solution method.
