Clinical and molecular features of PRCD‐associated retinopathy

A genetic and historical perspective on the origins of keratitis fugax hereditaria

Abstract Purpose To investigate the genetic and genealogical background of keratitis fugax hereditaria (KFH), a periodic corneal disease caused by the heterozygous pathogenic variant c.61G>C in the NLRP3 gene. KFH is characterized by recurrent unilateral autoinflammatory attacks alternating between the eyes and permanent corneal opacities.

Revisiting Ferritin‐IgG Score to Predict Complete Biochemical Response in Autoimmune Hepatitis

The ferritin‐IgG score failed external validation in a large Spanish multicentre cohort. However, baseline IgG ≥ 1.89×ULN independently predicted both complete biochemical response and biochemical response (defined as transaminase normalization), identifying patients less likely to achieve timely remission with standard therapy.

The last glacial cycle in western Norway—extensive MIS 5d glaciation, multiple glacial advances and LGM glacial advance phases

Raised marine MIS 5c sediments evidence extensive preceding (5d) glaciation in western Norway. This is the first out of five (or six) major Weichselian glacier advances that seem to correspond to North Atlantic sea surface cooling periods. Till beds capping the marine sediments show stages of pre‐LGM advance and subsequent retreat.

The c‐Src inhibitor eCF506 diminishes opioid tolerance and reduces β‐arrestin2 recruitment

Morphine activation of μ receptors causes tolerance through c‐Src activation and β‐arrestin2 recruitment. c‐Src inhibition or degradation reduces β‐arrestin2 recruitment, μ receptor endocytosis, while causing receptor upregulation, all likely contributing to reduced morphine tolerance.
