Fabry-Perot Resonance of Bilayer Metasurfaces

open access: yes, 2023
In this study, we constructed a Fabry-Perot cavity with nanostructured, thin resonant metasurfaces as meta-mirrors. We developed a temporal coupled-mode theory and provided an accurate generalization of Fabry-Perot resonance and analytically derived the transmission characteristics.

Reconstructing Quantum Dot Surfaces via Dual‐Functional Ligand Pairing Enables Efficient Shortwave Infrared Optoelectronics

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work presents a ligand‐pairing strategy that reconstructs lead sulfide quantum dot surfaces for efficient short‐wave infrared optoelectronics. A low‐reactivity thiourea precursor combined with hydrobromic acid enables monodisperse and fully passivated quantum dots.

Deep subwavelength Fabry-Perot resonances [PDF]

open access: yesEPJ Applied Metamaterials, 2014
Confinement of light by subwavelength objects facilitates the realization of compact photonic devices and the enhancement of light-matter interactions. The Fabry-Perot (FP) cavity provides an efficient tool for confining light. However, the conventional FP cavity length is usually comparable to or larger than the light wavelength, making them ...
