Traveling Salesman Facility Location Problems
Transportation Science, 1989We consider two generic facility location problems, the traveling salesman facility location problem (TSFLP) and the probabilistic traveling salesman facility location problem (PTSFLP), both of which have been a subject of intensive investigation recently.

The facility location problem with probabilistic constraints
2020 Joint 11th International Conference on Soft Computing and Intelligent Systems and 21st International Symposium on Advanced Intelligent Systems (SCIS-ISIS), 2020This study shows the effectiveness of the cutting plane method by applying it to the facility location problem with probabilistic constraints. Probabilistic constraints are those that should be satisfied at a certain probabilistic level and can consider the uncertainty of the parameters involved in the problem.

A Capacitated Bottleneck Facility Location Problem
Management Science, 1979This paper considers the problem of locating capacitated facilities to meet customer demands. The objective of the problem considers both a bottleneck transportation cost and a total cost of opening facilities. The structure of the problem is similar to that of the total cost capacitated facility location problem.

The Multi-Commodity Facilities Location Problem
Journal of the Operational Research Society, 1981The Multi-commodity Location Problem was one of the ‘multi-level’ location problems introduced by Warszawski and Peer in their paper on building sites. Methods of solution are developed for this problem via a dual-based approach and via a Lagrangean dual-based approach with hill-climbing. Numerical results are presented.

Solving the dynamic facility location problem
Networks, 1996Summary: This paper addresses the multiperiod, or dynamic, uncapacited facility location problem (DUFLP): The demand varies between time periods and the solution should answer the questions of where and when to establish facilities. We modelize the problem as a 0-1 quadratic program and, since the DUFLP is NP-hard, we focus on methods for generating ...

Distance Constrained Facility Location Problem
2009 IITA International Conference on Services Science, Management and Engineering, 2009The distance constrained facility location problem (DCFLP) seeks to the optimal way of locating facilities to minimize total costs (opening costs plus routing costs), while satisfying all the clients could be serviced by facilities within given distance. The paper first proposes a mixed 0-1 integer programming model for the DCFLP. Then, we present a ln(
