Remote Monitoring in Myasthenia Gravis: Exploring Symptom Variability

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Myasthenia gravis (MG) is a rare, autoimmune disorder characterized by fluctuating muscle weakness and potential life‐threatening crises. While continuous specialized care is essential, access barriers often delay timely interventions. To address this, we developed MyaLink, a telemedical platform for MG patients.

Factorial design to obtain magnetized poly(ethyl acrylate-co-divinylbenzene)

open access: yesPolímeros
Magnetized polymers are produced by incorporating magnetic particles in a polymeric matrix. This article describes the use of the suspension polymerization technique using ethyl acrylate and divinylbenzene as monomers, in the presence of heptane and/or ...

Influência das variáveis nitrogênio, fósforo e ºBrix na produção dos metabólicos secundários contaminantes totais da fermentação alcoólica Influence of nitrogen, phosphorus and ºBrix on the production of total secondary contaminant metabolites (MSCT) of alcoholic fermentation

open access: yesQuímica Nova, 2006
The present study evaluated the influence of nitrogen, phosphorus and ºBrix on the production of MSCT through a factorial design methodology and analysis of response surface.

How to use analysis of variance correctly——an analysis of variance for the univariate quantitative data collected from the factorial design

open access: yesSichuan jingshen weisheng, 2022
The purpose of this paper was to introduce the factorial design and its quantitative data analysis of variance and the SAS implementation. Factorial design could not only present the main effect magnitude of all experimental factors, but also ...

Two polynomial representations of experimental design

open access: yes, 2007
In the context of algebraic statistics an experimental design is described by a set of polynomials called the design ideal. This, in turn, is generated by finite sets of polynomials.

Trends in Dermatopolymyositis Mortality, 1999–2022: A Nationwide Population‐Based Study, United States

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, EarlyView.
We report the national burden of dermatopolymyositis mortality over the past quarter century using the US national vital statistics data. Age‐standardized mortality rates for dermatopolymyositis decreased at an annual rate of 3.8% each year, which was higher than the annual percent decrease for deaths from all other causes.

Optimization of MCM-48 synthesis using factorial design

open access: yesCerâmica
MCM-48 mesoporous materials were hydrothermally synthesized according to the 22 factorial design by varying the crystallization time and temperature of the synthesis gel, and characterized by means of X-ray diffraction analysis and adsorption of N2.

Estimability and efficiency in nearly orthogonal 2[m1] x 3[m2] deletion designs [PDF]

open access: yes, 1990
This article considers single replicate factorial experiments in incomplete blocks. A single replicate 2^m1 x 3^m2 deletion design in 3 incomplete blocks is obtained from a single replicate 3^m, where m = m_1 + m_2, preliminary design by deleting all ...

Enhancing Corrosion Resistance and Mechanical Strength of 3D‐Printed Iron Polylactic Acid for Marine Applications via Laser Surface Texturing

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Laser surface texturing significantly improves the corrosion resistance and mechanical strength of 3D‐printed iron polylactic acid (Ir‐PLA) for marine applications. Optimal laser parameters reduce corrosion by 80% and enhance tensile strength by 25% and ductility by 15%.
