Micropropagation ofFagus sylvatica L.

open access: yesIn Vitro Cellular & Developmental Biology - Plant, 1993
An in vitro shoot multiplication system was established from juvenile Fagus sylvatica L. tissues, and plantlets were regenerated. Embryonic axes were excised from beech seeds and germinated in vitro on media supplemented with 6-benzyladenine (BA) to obtain plantlets with axillary shoots.
