Distributed Energy Management for Port Power System under False Data Injection Attacks

open access: yesComplexity, 2022
This paper investigates a distributed energy management strategy for the port power system under false data injection attacks. The attacker can tamper with the interaction information of energy equipment, penetrate the boundary between port information ...

Identification of serum protein biomarkers for pre‐cancerous lesions associated with pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This work identified serum proteins associated with pancreatic epithelial neoplasms (PanINs) and early‐stage PDAC. Proteomics screens assessed genetically engineered mice with abundant PanINs, KPC mice (Lox‐STOP‐Lox‐KrasG12D/+ Lox‐STOP‐Lox‐Trp53R172H/+ Pdx1‐Cre) before PDAC development and also early‐stage PDAC patients (n = 31), compared to benign ...

State vulnerability assessment against false data injection attacks in AC state estimators

open access: yesEnergy Conversion and Economics, 2022
The transformation of the conventional power grid into a smart grid has revolutionised the power industry. However, this has also made the power grid vulnerable to various cyberattacks.

Down‐regulation of Shh in the hair follicles of mice during chemotherapy‐induced hair loss is mediated by the JAK/STAT1 signaling pathway

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
We found that during chemotherapy‐induced alopecia (CIA), Sonic hedgehog (Shh) expression significantly decreased in hair follicle Shh+ cells, whereas the Janus‐activated kinase/signal transducer and activator of transcription 1 (JAK/STAT1) signaling pathway was markedly activated.

Visual State Estimation for False Data Injection Detection of Solar Power Generation

open access: yesEngineering Proceedings, 2023
As the penetration level of solar power generation increases in smart cities and microgrids, an automatic energy management system (EMS) without human supervision is most communly deployed. Therefore, assuring safe and reliable data against cyber attacks

Discovery and Targeted Proteomic Studies Reveal Striatal Markers Validated for Huntington's Disease

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Clinical trials for Huntington's disease (HD) enrolling persons before clinical motor diagnosis (CMD) lack validated biomarkers. This study aimed to conduct an unbiased discovery analysis and a targeted examination of proteomic biomarkers scrutinized by clinical validation. Methods Cerebrospinal fluid was obtained from PREDICT‐HD and

Game-theoretic cybersecurity analysis for false data injection attack on networked microgrids

open access: yesIET Cyber-Physical Systems, 2019
In well-managed coordinated networked microgrids (MGs) besides electricity interchange between MGs, global optimisation is fulfilled. Here the authors studied a networked MG architecture, in which the control centre of microgrids communicates with a ...

False Data Injection Attack Detection in Smart Grid Using Energy Consumption Forecasting

open access: yesEnergies, 2022
Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems are essential for reliable communication and control of smart grids. However, in the cyber-physical realm, it becomes highly vulnerable to cyber-attacks like False Data Injection (FDI) into the ...

Applying an Ethical Lens to the Treatment of People With Multiple Sclerosis

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The practice of neurology requires an understanding of clinical ethics for decision‐making. In multiple sclerosis (MS) care, there are a wide range of ethical considerations that may arise. These involve shared decision‐making around selection of a disease‐modifying therapy (DMT), risks and benefits of well‐studied medications in comparison to

Baseline Regional Cholinergic Denervation Predicts Cognitive Trajectories in Moderate Parkinson Disease

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Cognitive decline is a disabling and variable feature of Parkinson disease (PD). While cholinergic system degeneration is linked to cognitive impairments in PD, most prior research reported cross‐sectional associations. We aimed to fill this gap by investigating whether baseline regional cerebral vesicular acetylcholine transporter ...
