Distributed Attack-Resilient Platooning Against False Data Injection

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology
This paper presents a novel distributed vehicle platooning control and coordination strategy. We propose a distributed predecessor-follower CACC scheme that allows to choose an arbitrarily small inter-vehicle distance while guaranteeing no rear-end collisions occur, even in the presence of undetected cyber-attacks on the communication channels such as ...

A NeuroD1 AAV‐Based Gene Therapy for Functional Brain Repair in Alzheimer's Disease‐Like Non‐Human Primate Model

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study tests NeuroD1 AAV‐based gene therapy in a non‐human primate Alzheimer's disease model. The therapy prevents neuronal damage, inhibits hippocampal atrophy, and reduces neuroinflammation. It also repairs vascular and blood‐brain barrier damage, restores cerebrospinal fluid biomarkers, enhances hippocampal glucose metabolism, and improves ...

Guaranteed False Data Injection Attack Without Physical Model

open access: yesIEEE Open Access Journal of Power and Energy
Smart grids are increasingly vulnerable to False Data Injection Attacks (FDIAs) due to their growing reliance on interconnected digital systems. Many existing FDIA techniques assume access to critical physical model information, such as grid topology, to successfully bypass Bad Data Detection (BDD).

Rapid Proteome‐Wide Discovery of Protein–Protein Interactions With ppIRIS

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ppIRIS is a lightweight deep learning framework for proteome‐wide protein–protein interaction prediction directly from sequence. By fusing evolutionary and structural embeddings with a regularized Siamese architecture, ppIRIS achieves state‐of‐the‐art accuracy across species, enables minute‐scale screening, and reveals biologically validated bacterial ...

Generation of CCR4/CD7 Bispecific CAR‐T Cells Resistant to Fratricide and Exhaustion

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The applications of CAR T‐cell therapy in T‐cell malignancies face limitations such as fratricide, effector‐cell exhaustion, and antigen‐escape. Herein, we developed fratricide‐ and exhaustion‐resistant CAR‐T cells that targeted CCR4 and CD7 simultaneously, with optional EGFRt safety switch. Additionally, scRNA‐seq unveiled new molecular targets, which

Integrative Analyses Identify a cGAS‐STING Pathway‐Driven Signature With Context‐Dependent Roles in Systemic Lupus Erythematosus

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Zhang et al. identify M7core, a critical cGAS‐STING pathway‐driven gene signature that is activated in most lupus patients’ blood and links to lupus disease severity, lymphopenia, and lupus nephritis. They further reveal the diagnostic and pathogenic characteristics of M7core and emphasize the importance of assessing pathway activity before initiating ...

Kinesin‐Induced Buckling Reveals the Limits of Microtubule Self‐Repair

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study shows that kinesin‐driven buckling induces extensive microtubule lattice damage that often exceeds intrinsic self‐repair and leads to filament failure. While curvature, motor motility, and force individually cause limited damage, their combination overwhelms repair.
