CD47 promotes mitogen‐activated protein kinase and epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition molecular programs to drive prometastatic phenotypes in non‐small cell lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Beyond its role in immune evasion, this study identified that CD47 drives tumor‐intrinsic signaling in non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Transcriptomic profiling and functional studies revealed that CD47 regulates cell adhesion, migration, and metastasis through an ERK–EMT signaling axis.

REGULATORY AND METHODOLOGICAL ASPECTS OF STUDYING ALLERGENIC PROPERTIES OF NEW MEDICINES AT THE PRECLINICAL STAGE

open access: yesРегуляторные исследования и экспертиза лекарственных средств, 2018
The assessment of allergic risk at the preclinical stage of drug development has been a debatable issue due to the integration of national requirements for medicines authorisation with those of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).

Comparative scores of ABO and Rh hemagglutination reactions

open access: yesMedical Journal of Dr. D.Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, 2022
Background: Blood group determination is done by the slide test and tube test. Grading/scoring of hemagglutination reactions is performed through the naked eye and microscopy to detect spurious (false positive and negative) reactions.

Adaptor protein CIN85 potentiates the motility of osteosarcoma cells via the Akt/mTOR and MMP2‐COL3A1 axis

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
CIN85 is highly expressed in osteosarcoma, particularly in metastatic lesions. Its overexpression increases cell migration and Matrigel invasion, while silencing CIN85 suppresses these behaviors. Transcriptome analysis shows that CIN85 regulates MMP2, COL3A1, and Akt/mTOR signaling. Targeting these pathways reverses CIN85‐induced motility, highlighting

PECULIARITIES OF CONTROL OF HUMAN ALBUMIN DRUGS ON THE CONTENT OF BACTERIAL ENDOTOXINS

open access: yesРазработка и регистрация лекарственных средств, 2019
The problem was considered to determine bacterial endotoxins in human albumin drugs. To improve the safety of medicines the option of dual control was recommended, which includes the rabbit pyrogen test and determining bacterial endotoxins by the LAL ...

Non-Specific Binding and Cross-Reaction of ELISA: A Case Study of Porcine Hemoglobin Detection

open access: yesFoods, 2021
Different types of enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays (ELISA) have been widely used to control food safety and quality. To develop an accurate and reproducible ELISA, false immunodetection results caused by non-specific binding (NSB) and cross-reaction ...

Chemical structure, cross-reactions and false-positive toxicological analyses

open access: yes, 2020
Cilj rada: Cilj rada je pregledom stručne literature utvrditi koji lijekovi dovode do lažno pozitivnih rezultata toksikoloških analiza te koje su funkcionalne skupine odgovorne za križne reakcije i lažno pozitivne analize. Razrada teme: Zlouporaba droga

Longitudinal circulating tumor DNA profiling in patients with advanced endometrial cancer using an off‐the‐shelf targeted NGS panel

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Intratumour heterogeneity complicates precision management of advanced endometrial cancer. Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) offers a minimally invasive strategy to capture tumor evolution and therapeutic resistance. Here, we compare tumor‐agnostic NGS with tumor‐informed ddPCR, outlining their relative sensitivity, concordance, and clinical implications ...

Red cell antibodies or noise? A case series on reactivity against the ingredients in column matrix

open access: yesAsian Journal of Transfusion Science
Noise in the immunohematological investigations can be described as a false reactivity of red blood cells (RBCs) in serologic testing that is not related to the interaction of RBC antigens and antibodies that the test system is intended to detect.
