Signature Analysis and Discrimination Method of Preceded Frequency-shift False Target

open access: yesLeida xuebao, 2017
Due to the effect of range-Doppler coupling between the time delay and shifted frequency of an LFM waveform, LFM radar is particularly susceptible to shift frequency jamming. A new deceptive jamming method, the Preceded Frequency-shift False Target (PFFT)

Overview of the Kepler Science Processing Pipeline

open access: yes, 2010
The Kepler Mission Science Operations Center (SOC) performs several critical functions including managing the ~156,000 target stars, associated target tables, science data compression tables and parameters, as well as processing the raw photometric data ...

Adaptive Optics Images of Kepler Objects of Interest [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
All transiting planets are at risk of contamination by blends with nearby, unresolved stars. Blends dilute the transit signal, causing the planet to appear smaller than it really is, or produce a false positive detection when the target star is blended ...

Valosin‐containing protein counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its ATPase activity in vitro

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Dense false target jamming suppression for airborne superimposed stepped frequency radar

open access: yesIET Radar, Sonar & Navigation, 2021
Traditional space‐time adaptive processing (STAP) suffers from severe performance degradation in dense false target jamming scenarios, especially mainlobe deceptive jamming.

An Anti-Jamming Method against Two-Dimensional Deception Jamming by Spatial Location Feature Recognition

open access: yesSensors, 2021
Interrupted sampling repeater jamming (ISRJ) is an effective method for implementing deception jamming on chirp radars. By means of frequency-shifting jamming processing of the target echo signal and pulse compression during image processing, a group of ...

Removing False Targets For Cyclic Prefixed OFDM Sensing With Extended Ranging

open access: yes2022 IEEE 95th Vehicular Technology Conference: (VTC2022-Spring), 2022
Employing a cyclic prefixed OFDM (CP-OFDM) communication waveform for sensing has attracted extensive attention in vehicular integrated sensing and communications (ISAC). A unified sensing framework was developed recently, enabling CP-OFDM sensing to surpass the conventional limits imposed by underlying communications.

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

CPHD filter derivation for extended targets [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
This document derives the CPHD filter for extended targets. Only the update step is derived here. Target generated measurements, false alarms and prior are all assumed to be independent identically distributed cluster processes.

Multiple Target, Multiple Type Filtering in the RFS Framework

open access: yes, 2019
A Multiple Target, Multiple Type Filtering (MTMTF) algorithm is developed using Random Finite Set (RFS) theory. First, we extend the standard Probability Hypothesis Density (PHD) filter for multiple types of targets, each with distinct detection ...
